Huey Magoo’s Cape Corral 6-20-25 Stopped by on Friday around 11:45am. Place was not that full but neat and clean. Walked up to the counter to order. I order the Magoo’s Sandwich which has Thick Cut Chicken Tenders, Dill Pickles with Magoo’s Signature Sauce, and Fries for the side. My wife ordered the Magoo’s Wrap which has Chicken Tenders, Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, Shredded Cheese with Magoo’s Signature Sauce, and fries for the side. One thing I was disappointed with the girl at the counter as she never asked if I wanted my Chicken Tenders Fried or Grilled. I did not see it on the large wall menu that you had a choice but maybe I missed it. Since it was my first time there, I did not know I could have opted for grilled which I would have gladly ordered. She did ask my wife if she wanted grilled for her Wrap. Our order came out quick and it looked very good. My Magoo’s Tender sandwich was good, and the Magoo’s Sauce took this thing to the next level. I loved the Magoo’s Sauce and next time I will try to get extra on my order. My wife’s wrap was good and large enough she could not finish it. The Fries were crinkle cut which I love but were nothing special they were ok. All our food was hot and good. I really was not going to go back because of all the Sandwiches being fried but I pulled up the menu to help write this review and saw where you can order all sandwiches grilled or fried. I must give Huey Magoo’s a 4 out of 5 stars and now I will go back to get Grilled Chicken on my order. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Mer On FB For More Fun &...
Read moreChicken tenders have been my go to meal since my baby teeth came in. Even in my 40s I still crave a good a chicken tender. So when a friend raved to me and my husband about Huey Magoo’s I knew we had to check it out. It was ok. I will say the coleslaw was really good. My favorite part of the meal actually. Of course the crinkle fries were good who doesn’t love crinkle fries. The sauce they give with the tenders was interesting. Neither good nor bad but it did make the tenders better. Now the tenders. I was disappointed. My first tender was a little tough and stringy but the rest of the tenders were fine. I started with dipping it in the sauce. It was fine as far as flavor but it didn’t wow me. Then I tried it with ketchup. Not good. I tried it without any sauce and that is when I realized the tender itself is pretty flavorless. There is an undertone of pepper that hits you but other than that there wasn’t much flavor. I ate about 3 of the 5 tenders and my husband only ate two of his. As far as fast food for chicken tenders it would not be my first choice. At this time I will not rate the service as they are newly open and that causes an influx of customers that makes wait times extra long and service seem slow. I mean give it a try maybe you...
Read moreFood is okay, but the staff is horrible! It is overpriced and the staff are useless and unfriendly. No greeting, no have a good day, no assistance with menu questions… one word, emotionless answers… the most that was said to me was “go ahead and put your card in”. Tell me you hate your job without telling me you hate your job. Then at the pick up counter when I asked the employee what the “magoo” sauce was, the answer was “similar to PDQ sauce”… I said “I don’t know what that is”, and they said “or like (insert name I can’t remember because I never heard of it either) sauce”. I said ok, I’ll just take bbq then. If the employees can’t even tell you what the signature sauce is, that’s bad. I ordered dine-in, then went back up and placed a to-go order for someone at home. Both cashiers acted the same, like it was annoying they had to take my order. The atmosphere is so loud the cashiers couldn’t even hear the questions I was trying to ask, and I could barely hear them either. Food was pricey and the meals don’t even come with a drink. I doubt I’ll ever go back, and I don’t recommend it. Can’t wait for Chick-fil-a to be done with their remodel, this is not a good...
