Pine Island Crossing — Local services in Cape Coral

I usually love this place. Quick in and out for most days. Sadly, one day didn't go as smoothly. Unfortunately at the sandwich making area the customer service slipped and instead of being served in order of arrival they ended up serving the one person who interrupted the line and gave her what she requested while there were a few people who were waiting in line. I went from next in line to LAST in line. The person making the sub gave the customer her sub and left to get the popcorn chicken for a woman who was taking her time to shop. However, the 3-4 other people clearly on their lunch break that had been waiting respectfully had to wait LONGER. Even the person who ordered a sub wasn't done. the sub maker decided she was done and JUST HAD to help this woman get her popcorn chicken. Again, food is great here. The store is clean. There are no true deal breaking issues here. I'd be wrong if I didn't explain my experience. To watch myself go from next in line to last was upsetting. Lunch is limited, and cutting off people for someone who cut the lines for subs AND warm food was wrong. However, don't knock on this location due to it. Just don't come here at lunch, expecting quick. They do get busy for lunch, and it's always good. But the customer service was dropped that day. In the end still will enjoy this...

This area is very crowded and busy with many shopping centers running into each other. You can find many good stores and restaurants on both sides of the road. Traffic can get really bad at times and all the fast food stores get very busy around the lunch hour. The Publix here, I think, is the best in the area as it is larger with more variety and tends to have better produce. Unfortunately the deli doesn't have the best service. They tend to pre slice all of their sale products and refuse to slice your items freshly and to order so I quit purchasing deli products. Some areas of the parking lots could use some repairing and the traffic flow definitely needs to be improved but overall a good...

This particular store has a weird setup. I have a difficult time finding what I need. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Love the deli first thing in the door. They almost always have my go-to rotisserie chickens (actually for my one spoiled shizu) Normally I purchase 3 or 4 a week. The other two nearby Publix rarely have rotisserie chickens nor are they cooking, even at 4 pm which I would imagine is the beginning of the dinner rush. Interestingly enough I have noticed the two stores without rotisserie chickens have fried chickens and very long sandwich lines. I'm sure it's something to do with the geographic locations even though these 3 Publix are within 4 or 5 miles...
