Living in the days where customer service is a thing of the past I cannot express how not only was it a shock, but how NICE it was to walk in a store with no clue exactly what I wanted or needed and experience the BEST customer service in years. I felt as though I went back in time, to the "Good Old Days" what made it even extra nice was that the employee who went above and beyond was a young lady, not to say young people cannot be helpful. Chelsea at the NFM/Cape Coral Michaels offered the type of customer service from the past, she gave me her full attention, walked me to the items needed, helped me choose what I needed (remember I had NO clue) She went so far as to walk me to the front and check me out to avoid waiting for the next cashier all while she never once acted as though she was aggravated or preoccupied that I interrupted the task she was on, which I most certainly did. Thanks to Chelsea I got everything needed to complete my project (including the "How To") I'll definitely be visiting this store...
Read moreThis Michael's moved from the Nicholas Street and Pine Island Avenue last year taking over the former AC Moore. This store is has a wide selection of retail products. They also offer craft classes you can sign up for (Cake Decorating was one I took) but I know they offer other classes throughout the year. Just check out their website. Speaking of which, I think their prices tend to be pricier than some other places, their website and app usually have a 40% or 50% off coupon for a single item as well as discounts for many of their retail items at different times of the year (multiple times). So if you do jewelry making, you will find entire lines to be on sale. They rotate through the more popular items like art supplies, seasonal items, floral, and framing. Some of their lines, you cannot usually find in other retail or...

The staff are still very friendly, although the cashiers were backed up and there was one lady who was told a manager would have to come up to reprint her receipt and then the cashiers just sort of pushed her aside and seemed to forget her ... She was quite miffed as customer after customer was helped while she was ignored and no one seemed to be coming to help her. Three prices are still a bit high and although things are on sale all the time, it seems the prices are marked up to counter the sales. There is a VERY limited selection for holidays where there used to be an extensive variety and supply. It seemed like they just put out what was left over from last year and maybe did not receive the supply for this year. *Perhaps due to the Covid...
