December 2018 Maria's Pizzeria & Restaurant, SE 46th Ln., Cape Coral, Fl. Here is my 2 cent on the food and chatter. I went here for the Sizzle Week. I am glad I did. For 16 bucks you get a soda, appetizer and entree. I chose the lasagna. I drank raspberry lemonade. I got the house made wedding soup. Well balance and filled with meat. Along with hot buttery garlic rolls to dip in a wonderful olive oil. Messy, but lip smacking good. The main event was the lasagna. WOW... delightful...No need to add pepper flakes or salt. Just plain delirious tasty! The portion were bigger than most places I have been to. I needed a doggie bag to go. As my server stated you never leave here hungry. Roy my server was outstanding. There is only 1 big hiccup. The parking lot. It only has 3 spaces and 1 handicapped. Difficult to park. So when busy you must park on the street. It seemed to be a safe neighborhood. Maria Pizzeria & Restaurant, SE 46th Ln., Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food & chatter. I had a restaurant week entree for 25 bucks. I got meatballs for appetizer, chicken Marsala and tariasu for dessert. Ah yes old skool free fresh buttery bread with a olive oil dip sauce. Lip smacking good. Though only 2 medium size meatball, they very much melted on the tongue good. Chicken was cooked so tender. Though a tad more garlic for the day. At least for me.The dessert light sweet & chocolate mmmmm good. For later on and manana pepperoni/mushroom pizza. Good fresh good cold. Service was outstanding.

We are Michiganders and love a good pizza and mom and pop joint! Maria’s will not disappoint. Between the mouth watering smell when you walk in to the delightful wait staff that is quick and efficient we had a fantastic time. Jenna our server was amazing, last minute she quickly got my 3 year old all her demands and believe me it wasn’t easy. The food was sooooo good! The Caesar salad was delicious but Maria’s sets it apart from the rest with its homemade dressing. My family LOVED the meat lovers pizza! I’ll think about it forever. And if you’re lucky really really LUCKY you will be in for the times of your life if Luke is there! There’s a baby pic of him on the wall and we were so pumped when he came to our table. I’ll tell ya they don’t make management like this anymore, Luke not only gave us a full background on his families place but was just all out the sweetest kid! More people should take a page out of Luke’s book, absolute adored him! If you go to Maria’s ask for the kid in the onesie on the wall you won’t be sorry! He is a genuine personable guy with the sweetest soul! Loved him! And quick shout out to John who ran out my daughters bracelets! Such a nice staff, amazing food, and all out somewhere you should visit when you come to Cape Coral! Can’t say enough great things!

I’m not an i’m not a big fan of Italian restaurants, but after reading the reviews, I was really excited to come here, but I was quickly disappointed. It took us a while to be acknowledged, and to sit down, but other than that the service was pretty good. Our server was really nice and attentive. The ambience was all right, but what brought the stars down for me is that the food was so bad. Everything was like warm. The mozzarella sticks were all right, but what gets me is the plating of this, I just think it’s so weird(pictured). The soups were bland, and they both didn’t get finished. The best thing we ordered was the caprese salad, The tomatoes were hilariously large, but it was good. I got the Giovanni’s veal and not to be that person but it’s one of the most expensive things on the menu and it was not very good. I had to add all of these things to it to make it good. Mine was salvageable but for the margarita pizza absolutely not, i mean look at it. It was so soggy and flimsy. I took a picture of the bottom of the plate and you can see the oil or water whatever it was at the bottom. Overall, 2 stars.

I was treating my neighbors to nice dinner for a thankyou for a special favor they did for my wife and I. While I have eaten at this restaurant for a number of years and always been delighted with both service and food, my experience last night was less than impressive. Server seated my party (4 adults) and as she was taking our drink requests, darted off to something else, returning approximately 10 minutes later to complete the beverage order. After a reasonable time the drinks were served, dinner orders were taken. After a while dinner started to arrive, the ladies dinner came, and nothing for the guys. After approximately 10 minutes my dinner came and my friends dinner still had not shown up! I got up and went to ask the server about it and she said that it would be right up, a few minutes later his meatball sub showed up, along with a handful of I'm sorriy's from the server. I asked to speak to the manager and he showed up and in a very loud voice discussed their shortcomings in regards to the service, mis-communications in the kitchens etc., all of which was very embarrassing for both my wife and I. My read on all of this is that when the server brought out the two dinners for the ladies she should have gone right back to the kitchen to get the other two, where she would have discovered that the other two dinners were not even prepared yet! I found the entire evening distressing and not what I had intended for my guests. I know that Maria's has done better in the past and the food has always been very good. Please review the service and how to make sure all meals arrive for a small group more or less at...

This used to be a really good place to eat. I hadn't been in awhile; but it was very disappointing. We were seated, got drinks & ordered. Bread was brought out; 2 bread plates were damp, mine was smeared & looked somewhat dirty, but I didn't say anything about it. There were 4 of us. Three got Italian wedding soup & 1 got a salad. They weren't included in the meal, which was a change for us, as it used to be. All 3 soups were brought out ice cold. They looked unappetizing to begin with & touching the cups confirmed they'd never been heated at all. We declined to have them heated & had the waitress take them away. When our food came out 2 people had oven baked entrees & 2 didn't. The oven dishes were hot, the other 2 were deemed "lukewarm" and not "hot." We were given a table in a back wall section with a music speaker over our heads; it was too loud for that space & made it difficult to hear each other at the table. After we paid the bill my husband wanted to use the restroom. There was an "Out Of Order" sign on it, so he skipped it. When leaving there was no "Have A Good Night" or "Thanks for coming in" from the person at the front desk area. The waitress was personable & apologized about the soup. But honestly a manager could have stopped at the table & said something about the situation. Offered free beverages or something. We won't be going back anymore, after going...
