I'm incredibly grateful for the hospitality given to us at the Greek Spot today.
My husband and I took our kids here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary.
The owner is very generous. He gave our kids specially imported Greek chocolate bars (his favorite from when he was a kid!)
He has a very adorable family. We saw the Grandfather and met his young son who can even speak a little bit of Greek.
We've been here before and I love the food. Greek food is my absolute favorite(besides Ukrainian food) The lamb gyro here makes my eyes roll back. The salad is very refreshing and is good for your health which is why I chose it.
It's a very popular place in Cape Coral. We favor sitting outside in the little nook to an indoor setting, and there are fans and shade to keep you cool.
There is an adorable little garden being kept as well. Basil and a monster rosemary plant. I've seen an elderly woman tend the garden last time I visited. She was friendly and had a deep Greek accent, I'm sure she's the Grandmother.
There is a potted plant with a sunflower. I asked the owner today if we could place an American flag and a Ukrainian flag in the pot (we happened to have the flags on hand because we are a patriotic Ukrainian - American family oozing with love for our nations) The owner gracefully welcome it without hesitation and said how he supports our counties. It meant so much to us. By the way, Sunflowers are a symbolic crop of Ukraine.
Thank you so much, you were my favorite restaurant before, and now it means so much to me to show your solidarity.
Thank...

On a scorching day, we ordered delicious, authentic Greek food from The Greek Spot which offers pick up and outdoor seating. We enjoyed it in the cool, air-conditioned comfort of The Sweet Spot right next door. Both are owned by the same warm and welcoming Greek family, and you can feel that hospitality in every bite and every interaction. The food is the real deal — their gyro is made the authentic way, roasting on a spit (not from a mix), alongside other flavorful dishes that taste like they came straight from a Greek kitchen. We were traveling with a well-seasoned Greek family member who has some challenges, and the owners and their diverse, friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. Their kindness to all of us (and especially our well seasoned family member) made our visit even more memorable. Whether you have Greek roots or simply love great food and warm people, this is a must-visit. Also, if you are a small group (assistive living, Greek Club, men’s group, group home….) you will love this as an outing. And on your way out, grab a gift card — it’s a perfect way to share this gem with...
Read moreThe Greek Spot has been a favorite of ours for a while. I (JH) keep attempting to order new things to try, but the gyro is consistent and perfect every time! My wife usually gets the gyro fries the they’re just as reliable and delicious. The consistency of their food is an underrated aspect, in my opinion. They manage to just nail the balance of meat, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce in an ideal combo.
This was my (JD) first time there and it definitely will not be my last. Everything about the gyro was perfect. It was loaded with meat. The ratio of toppings to meat was spot on. The tzatziki was delicious. I’m not a fan of cucumbers, so the way they are prepped for tzatziki makes it or breaks it for me. I could have eaten it by the spoonful. Did I mention how packed full of stuff their gyro is? Seriously, give them a try. It’s important to note they have just a few small tables inside and some outdoor seating. It wouldn’t be bad to get it as takeout. It will travel well. If you want a delicious gyro that’s packed full of both flavors and ingredients, you have to stop by...
