We appreciate the local investment in our community, so we thought we’d give Marina Cantina Tin Tiki a try. We also enjoy Parrot Key, its sister restaurant at the same marina. Marina Cantina Tin Tiki has a large waterfront patio, the ambiance is casual and beautifully done. The full menu wasn’t available - they’re in their soft opening phase - but there were plenty of options and the food we ordered (the carnitas tacos and sandwich) were delicious. Virtually all food items are made in-house which is another plus. Our server, Theresa, was very friendly and provided top customer service. We will return!

We noticed they are now open, so we stopped by Marina Cantina to check it out. They are in their "soft opening", so they do not have their full menu but still had a good selection. We tried the Tin Tiki Shrimp Appetizer, Grouper Sandwich, and Avocado Caesar Salad - all were very good. It was not busy and we had a great view of Mantanzas Pass and the sunset. Glad there is another good restaurant in the area, and hope they do well. We'll be back!

We went to Marina Cantina with friends this past Friday and we had such a great experience. The food was incredible – we all ordered different dishes and each one was so delicious. Our wonderful server Theresa suggested the carnitas, so I had to try it, and each bite was packed with flavor. The service is outstanding, the food delicious, and the sunset views are beautiful. This place is definitely worth a stop.

Jenny was our server yesterday. It was her very first day and she was incredible! Very friendly and attentive. We had a party of 6 and she handled it like a pro especially for her first day! Two of us ordered the “special” drink of the day, a coconut margarita. We both took one sip and it was horrible. I couldn’t drink it. The other one got passed around for everyone to taste and the consensus was that it was really bad. So I ordered a pina colada. I ended up drinking a little over half but could tell it was made with a cheap mix of some sort and had a nasty aftertaste. The other lady ordered a Bahama Mama and said it was not very good and didn’t drink much of it. I will stick with a glass of wine if we return. Three of us got the grouper sandwich. The two gals said the blackening was too spicy and their eyes were watering and their noses started running. The guy who had it likes spicy so he was fine with it. The side salad they brought was huge and good. The Queso Dip was a hit for the whole table. The two other guys got tacos and liked them. I think since they just opened they have to get the kinks worked out some and get their drinks improved. I think we’ll try to go back in a few months to give them a try again after they have been open a while. Atmosphere is very nice!!! Jenny is a rock star!!! We all...
