Great location overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Insanely delicious and fresh food. Loved the buns with spicy sauce. Oysters are so fresh that I wanted to repeat another portion. The ice cream dessert was very nicely decorated, just right for gourmets who can't decide on a taste. Beautiful serving and presentation of food. Original and tastefully selected crockery. Great staff. The only thing that overshadowed our visit was the front desk, as they didn’t want to immediately take us to a table and asked us to wait 20 minutes, given that the hall was half empty and the tables were not reserved. When we asked why we had to wait so long if the hall was empty, we were told that we needed to prepare tables and clarify whether they were reserved by anyone. At the same time, we were not even offered to sit at the bar or go to the waiting area. I didn’t quite understand what caused it and felt uncomfortable, to be honest, I wanted to leave. And please, do not turn off the air conditioners, 30 minutes before the closed restaurant, yet visitors want to finish their dinner with a comfortable temperature Otherwise, everything was top notch, I will be happy to return, and I hope that the reception staff will be more welcoming to their guests

Dined here on a Sunday night with the wife while on vacation in January 2020. We were a bit early for our OpenTable reservation so we waited at the bar area. They had a huge TV and a bunch of folks were watching who looked like locals were watching football. We were brought to our table about five minutes later and I was immediately struck by the beauty of this restaurant. The decor is very modern, with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach. They had a good wine selection, but not that many wines by the glass. The La Crema pinot noir was good. Wifey and I both ordered the fish chowder and thought it was great. I ordered the Snapper Oscar which was delicious. Wifey got a salad with grilled salmon which she liked a lot. For dessert we ordered the gelato - which was presented beautifully with whipped cream, berries, and crushed pistachios and chocolate. Wow! Service was very attentive and professional. This place is fantastic. Go.

We ate here twice during our trip. Amazing views of the gulf! The seafood tower with crab, lobster and shrimp was delicious! My husband loved the snapper. The pesto pasta was okay- wouldn’t order it again. Caesar salad was good- the 1/2 size is perfect for a starter. The bread pudding and creme brûlée were both really good! We had the beer cheese and pretzels 3 times during our stay- so you know those are good. They have a great daily happy hour with food and drinks. The bartenders are a lot of fun and so was the live music.

The food was delicious, but that was about it. We made reservations for 9:00pm on a Sunday, at 3pm they called us to let us know that they closed at 10 and to try and get there on time which was fine, but then they called us again at 8:50 telling us the same information again but with an attitude this time. We got to the restaurant and the host was nothing but rude, she didn’t even greet us we told her we had a reservation and all she did was give us a dirty look and start walking which she didn’t even say “ follow me” we just assumed to follow her since she was walking away. We took a seat at our table and were greeted by the waitress and at first she seemed nice, but when I decided what I wanted to eat she asked me if I was sure because it was going to take a long time…. I stated it was and she just started huffing and puffing and fidgeting. At no point did we feel welcomed or wanted there. In my opinion if a place closes at a certain time and you are so desperate to go home then do not make reservations on the website available for such a late time. And not only that but there were reservations available for 9:30. O do not understand what the hurry was, and if it was such a problem for the time that we made our reservation for then a call to see if we could’ve came in sooner would’ve been appreciated. I do have to say we will not be returning or advising anyone to come here. Yes the food was great but the...

Bartender was great! We had called ahead with reservations asking for a window seat facing the sunset. The hostess sat us at seat she liked instead of what we requested. She refused to seat us where we requested ahead of time. Even though there was an available seat..

We ordered a few drinks and two appetizers. The shrimp appetizer was really good, the brussel sprouts left us both with tummy aches and a not so good lingering taste in our mouths

My husband said "The way I made my brussel sprouts is better Than Coste.

We found that Island View located in the Lani Kai Resort had great rooftop views and had better quality food plus we paid the same amount yet we got more.

At Island View we ordered two drinks, two dinners and an appetizer.

I normally don't like to leave bad reviews. However, being someone who use to work in the restaurant industry.

Service is key. We received way better service at Island View than we did at Coste, which was icing on the cake with how great The Island Views food was.

I would only recommend Coste to have a few drinks at before continuing your...
