The Beach Bar — Restaurant in Fort Myers Beach

Just to clarify The Owners reply to John. You failed to mention that the incident began when one of your workers, a 6’1 235lb guy in his late 30’s walked up to a 60 year old female and aggressively grabbed an orange Nutrl drink with out warning and yelled at her, “We don’t serve this flavor, LEAVE”. Well then another small female, my wife questioned him as to why he did that. The big guy responded again in a loud aggressive manner and said again we had to leave. At this point m wife said “Okay Fine” a tossed the few drops that were left in her free shot glass of Nutrl that were being passed out but 2Nutrl girls all afternoon. The little bit she tossed was tossed over shoulder onto the sand, not at anybody. At this point the big guy slammed a drink into my small 61 year old wife’s face. This whole incident was caused by and escalated big guy employee, who had zero communication skills and apparently likes to be aggressive to small, 60 something year old women quietly trying to have a good time. The whole incident could have been avoided and handed much better if big guy didn’t accuse a small lady of trying to sneak in an $8 can of a flavor of Nutrl they...

I wish I could give more than a 5/5 because my experience at the beach bar isn’t an experience that can be expressed numerically. Firstly, the place is amazing and in a prime location with a gorgeous view, tremendous feel-good vibes and people, along with some very talented musicians and music that flat out rocks. Beer never tasted so good. Above all, the staff stands out to me. What truly stands out to me about the staff (e.g., Matt, Anthony, and the owner Greg) is their genuine interest in their customers experience and their immense desire to have their customers enjoy their visit and leave satisfied with great memories made. I can honestly say that they made sure I had a wonderful time, and I did. I cannot wait to be back! It is hard to come by restaurant/bar staff who are so dedicated to each individual’s experience. Took a vacation to Ft Myers Beach last week and was lucky enough to stay right by the Beach Bar. Needless to say, this is really a great place to have a drink. No table service, no food, just ice cold beer, wine and some drink options. When you go, it is CASH ONLY. The people there were from all over and were very friendly. We enjoyed that a lot! The best thing about the Beach Bar is the taking down of the US flags at dusk. Not sure who it is, (owner?) but the gentleman is obviously former military and does the correct protocol when taking them down. He announces that he will be taking down the flags, marches down the middle of the tables and takes them down. ALL people are standing, quiet, and in complete respect for what he is doing.
