As someone who is been working in the food industry for four years, I've never seen an establishment so blatantly disregard health and safety protocol. On my first day on employment, there was an employee in the kitchen with no shoes on. I've witnessed a handful of employees and 3 different managers, including the store manager, handle prepared food with no gloves on and with unwashed hands. They hold food hours past its time of expiration and in no way follow through with an appropriate dress code. If a pop up inspection were to be done, I have no doubt they would fail it. A corporate manager came in and tore into the store management about the fact that their managerial duties aren't being followed through with. Minors are frequently having to remind their bosses to send them on break. Kitchen staff keeps their food and drink in the kitchen with them. Employees walk around with their phones in their faces or playing their music so loud, the person in drive thru can't hear the customers. It's an absolute train wreck, an something needs to be done about it.
Part 2: I went through drive thru around 2:45am (24 hours) and ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, 2 iced coffees, and a daily double. After I got my bag, I check it, and there was only the daily double and then a regular cheeseburger. I told the manager who was working the second window that I had ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, and not a single cheeseburger. She proceeded to argue with me in drive thru about how her emploee rang up the wrong order. I don't see what that has to do with the fact that they messed up my order. I spoke clearly, reiterated my order, and had the employee repeat it back. Fast food is not a job that requires an immense amount of skill. So fast forward, the manager asks me to park, and I wait for a solid 15 minutes. She then brings me a bag with a single cheeseburger that had been sitting out with two strip of bacon in a 4 piece nugget box. (As someone who was employeeed at that exact location, I know for a fact it had been sitting out because there was adhesive from the old ticket on the wrapper and the burger was plain. It was also cold when I took a bite out of it.) Instead of just amending the mistake they made, the manager gave me an attitude and the wrong order for a second time. Read moreLine in drive thru was all the way around the building so I went inside and had my order taken right away. One guy was waiting ahead of me for his food. After standing around waiting for 6 minutes on a coffee and sausage muffin I became extremely impatient as I watched seven staff members frantically wait on the drive-thru, stand around talking to each other behind the counter, even had a probable off-duty staff member visiting talking to them while they were "working". All while I'm trying to get back to my job that is based on timing for pay. When I asked what was taking so long, I was given very rude response buy a snotty mouth girl and promptly handed the food that should have gone to the gentleman who ordered before me. Thankfully I realized the bag was heavy and looked so I handed it to him and waited for mine. It was absolutely crazy how rude, arrogant, and unpleasant the staff were. I also noticed that our orders actually had been ready, just NO ONE that waa standing around could manage to bag a meal and a sandwich. The staff member leaving as I walked out even told me that I should complain about this. Sounds like that's not an uncommon occurrence when a staff member is encouraging complaints be made. I used to stop a couple times a day when working. Got to have that coffee. I haven't stopped at this particular McDonald's again. I won't. Well I had a coupon for free fries & soda when I bought the new 1/4 pounder.
It been a year or so since coming here I believe
First they redecorated the place in an ugly like green decor... I guess to run you out faster. It does kick me out.
The french fries now really suck... They are smaller & less meaty. They remind me of Steak & Sh*ke. Terribly small.
They also are using less teenagers. They have 2 kiosk to order and pay. I did not notice them until I sat down. I REFUSE TO USE MACHINES THAT TAKE AWAY JOBS. (W*lmart u r on notice too.)
1/4 burger it tasted ok. It looked nothing like the advertisement. BUT $4.69 for 4 ounces of meat. I understand overhead but at the cost of young humans first job of responsibility... Nope.
I am really ticked off. It was 3 pm on a Wednesday. NO ONE IN LINE INSIDE. 4 cars in drive thru.
I was very articulate. 1 double (2 fish patties) filet of fish sandwich with EXTRA pickles and a Big Mac. Plus I had BOGO coupon. SIMPLE................. I got my order quickly, really too fast. Drive home. Open my bag and on the fish box extra pickles was noted. When the box was open NO DOUBLE FILET. NO EXTRA PICKLES. Plus my BIG MAC was cold. It was only a 5 minutes ride home. And the cheese was NOT melted.
