Stevie Tomato’s in Cape Coral could be our corner bar. Since moving from Wisconsin where there are family-owned bars on every corner, it was disheartening to go to various bars in Florida where no one recognized you nor bothered to remember what your name was, nor what you drank. At Stevie Tomato’s in Cape Coral, the second time we entered, we were greeted by the bartender, Brittanie, who knew exactly what my husband drank and reconfirmed before filling his order. They have great service and foods, especially the daily specials. Sizzling fajitas are the best and are served daily. But I love the Wednesday night special - stuffed Poblano peppers – stuffed with chicken or beef. The menu is varied and you have many choices. Whether it’s a large appetizer or a daily special, you won’t go away hungry.
They have an outside bar and normally have music or trivia activities going on with an active and interesting crowd; even if you don’t participate, it’s fun to watch.
We brought visitors on Sunday and the wait-staff was fantastic. They all introduce themselves and made our visit a good one. We were seated by Trish and our waitress was Jillian. Service was fantastic and the foods were delicious. No one went away hungry and we were pleased with the service – Jillian kept the drinks coming and that kept everyone happy. It’s our favorite place since moving to...
Read moreI'm giving "Stevie Tomato's" the ratings I am based on reputation. Was planning on going with a group of eight other folks. A nice, pleasant Easter Brunch, my treat!!
But my cousin went to Florida three days before: an "advance scout", if you will. She texted me this past Thursday night that she was in ST for all of just five minutes!! While trying to quietly enjoy her shot 'n brewski, some bum-looking little-person kept screaming & yelling about "showing Carla with bathroom graffitti" or some such ....
My cousin tried turning her back to all the commotion but it just kept coming. She says he was ranting about 40-pound saddlebags of Coors Lite attached to some other guy named "Harry Davison" or whoever.
I really couldn't understand what my cousin was on about. All I do know is that the world is dangerously crazy these days. I thought a nice, quiet watering-hole, ON EASTER, would be a break from the madness. But now after hearing about the sort of clientele ST allows in their establishment on a random Thursday evening, goodness only knows what sort of unclean street slime might slither in on a major holiday ....
Like I say: was planning a nice Easter Weekend with eight other heavily-tipping friends/relatives. Thank heavens my cousin...

Stevies Tomatoes Sports Page, Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, Fl., Here Is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I was in the mood for something different.Stevies was promoting their Chicago style pie. So I gambled to try it. I LOST.
Folks were nice but it took longer than usual for a pizza pie. 45-60 minutes.
It was a heavy pie and the cheese slid while I carried it.
I sliced into it took a big bite....It was the worst ever....A 1 1/2 inch thick crust 1/2 inch of very plain tasting cheese. Hardly any sauce to be tasted or seen...Just plain nasty for me. I tried other areas of the pie...No luck just as bad.
I threw it to the birds in my front yard...it took 3 days to be gone.
Never more of this pie.
Well, I went for the Fathers day special...twice... A serving of fall off the bone baby back ribs & a fries. You cannot make it your self for that deal...Plus on Friday its 2 drinks for 1 price , & a free order of tasty salsa/chips.. It was a penny pincher dream.
Oh yes the bartender KNEW how to make a brandy separator, :0 wow. I was there at 1130 am. so not too crowed. Service both time was attentive. GOOD JOB. Yes food is worth...
