Had my friend encourage me to visit Zirilli's last week and I thought "it's been a while!"
So hubby and I stopped in for a couple sweet treats tonight, and I just wanna say: Cape Coral we've gotta show our small businesses more love! We all know it's getting turned into a concrete jungle around here, but we have a say in keeping these businesses alive- and we vote with our dollars for what we want!
I've been able to have a couple conversations with the owners now, they're always working, and they're truly sweet and generous people. Tonight I got to learn about all the fun art at Zirilli's! The owner has handmade all their tables with resin and freestyled them with paint pens! So talented! He painted their "Zirrili" wall himself as well. Everything down to even the smallest touch of this little spot is filled with love and hospitality- like his little memorial of Vincenzo Miceli Jr. (one of the original owners of Miceli's in Matlacha) because the owner says he doesn't want his memory forgotten! That is beautiful to hear, and I know we all love Miceli's too 😄
Let's show this small business some love! Their Italian ice is delicious and their Gelati (italian ice layered with ice cream) is on special every Tuesday for $2! You get their small size of Gelati and its perfect for kiddos (and, honestly even adults 😂 hubby and I got both sizes in the picture so you can see) So for anybody that can, bring in your kids sports teams for a treat, or just bring your whole family for a mid-week sweet; whatever occasion you have, please remember this awesome, civically engaged small business in our area and pay them a visit sometime soon! ♥️ ALSO! If you or any in your family have a dairy sensitivity, most of their italian ice is dairy free (like the one in my husband's peanut butter crunch)- so don't worry about that! I'm sure you can find a new favorite sweet treat there!
You can find Zirrilis on Pine Island Rd. near Skyline, in the same plaza as Stevie Tomatoes near Bonefish/Carrabbas 😊

Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile and the sweet scent of pure happiness. The gelati's are the best! The italian ice is smooth, flavorful, and perfectly refreshing—ideal for the Florida hot days or just because you deserve a treat! The ice cream is creamy and rich, with unique flavors alongside the classics. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients.
The owners and staff are always friendly, patient, and happy to offer samples if you're indecisive (like me). The shop is clean, colorful, and has a welcoming, family-friendly vibe.

Read moreThis PLACE! So good doesn't seem to cover it. They have ice cream, ice (not gelato), carmel covered pretzels, carmel apples, and assorted frozen treats for grab and go. My favorite treat is the Gelati, which is ice on bottom, ice cream middle and ice on top. Any flavor combo you want. You can taste a flavor if you just aren't sure. Which gets me to the staff. This is a mom and pop owned place. The owners work in the store & you won't meet 2 nicer people. The other staff are outgoing and personable. I am not one to leave reviews but when a business is this outstanding in what they do they deserve to be recognized. I would go every day if I could but they close on...
