I had such a fantastic time at Barefoot Bar & Restaurant in Cape May! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a perfect beachy vibe that made me feel like I was on vacation, even if just for the evening.

But the true highlight of the night was Stefanie—she was absolutely amazing! Attentive, friendly, and just a joy to be around. Her service was top-notch, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell she really cares about her guests.

Barefoot had stellar food, quick service, and good atmosphere. Went for lunch at noon on a Thursday and had no wait to sit at the bar. The bartenders were nice and attentive; Surfside was $8 and the Cape May IPA was $9. The shrimp po boy was probably one of my favorite meals I had while in Cape May. The seasoning on the blackened shrimp was flavorful and a little spicy, and the sauce, pickles and bread were delicious together. If you want a great view, live music and really good food we recommend it! The only problem was the wait the first time we went last week was super long. We sat there for almost 2 hours waiting for our food after our appetizers. We did stay there almost 3 hours... However, the manager did make it up to us and give us the apps for free! Because of the kindness of the manager by doing the right thing, we went back again a few days later and the wait was what was to be expected for our food. Again the food was really good.
