Main Street Bagels — Restaurant in Capitola

Toasted jalapeno bagel w cheddar cheese butter tomato and onion $5.50. (the veggie sandwich clearly is 4.45 on the board...Okay hope it's good. Turns out they are cutting food cost here. When finally received my cold bagel I got barely any tasteless margarine, one piece of cheese, an orange slice of 🍅 and a large handful of onions. The only thing they didn't screw up was the bagel part. It might've been good if they didn't screw up every other ingredient. Oh yeah and when I went to get a side of "butter" she was very reluctant to give it up, I had to show her the dry thing first... But I persevered, only to find there is no silverware! Be careful. CHECK RECEIPT!! They will overcharge you if they think you are not paying attention. They charged me $5 for a cream cheese bagel (less than 3$ on their menu). This place is already over priced, but that's okay I consent to that price when I make a purchase. They get 1 star because of the stealing. Also they have a lot of hidden fees (this time they definitely over charged and it wasn't hidden fees. I confronted them about it AND THEY ADMITTED IT). Careful check you receipt. Also their are other bagel shops not to far that are much cheaper. One star is to many, but you have to select at least 1. Came in to pick up a phone order. As the girl behind the counter was filling it, with out tongs or gloves on, and her mask pulled down below her nose.She picked a raisin out of a raisin bagel with her fingers, pulled down her mask and ate the raisin. Then tossed the bagel back in the bin. During these times, and any time I find this unacceptable. This was my first time at Main Street Bagels on 41st street in Capitola and will be my last.
