This place is a little diamond in the rough. I don't know why but it always has really good clothing for men and women mostly new stuff or only lightly worn... and excellent shoes. Sometimes it has really good furniture and classic things high quality and then it has the usual odds-and-ends nick-nacks and weird hats. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the products but there is one drawback about this place and that is the employees. They are overly serious, have a inflated sense of self-importance and act like the donated clothing that you're trying to buy if something you're trying to steal and they take great offense to it ---although it's been donated to them in the first place which equals zero overhead. Women are allowed to bring their purses in, however men are not allowed to bring backpacks in with the added inconvenience that they do not offer any kind of bag check. I like to act suspicious for the duration of my time there and then go to the counter and pay for whatever it is I'm getting, give them all a bright smile and then leave. God bless the Goodwill. Update: New crew that’s way more relaxed and realistic. There are a few of the old guard left but it’s nothing like it used to be. And they now have a self service bag locker. It’s nice to safely stash my backpack after riding around with it on all day. Thank you Goodwill. New drawback: highly reduced hours. They now...
Read moreI went on an Sunday and they were still taking items in the back of the building. So you're ok on Sunday to drop off. The parking for drop off was well planned and worked. No line-ups of cars. I stopped in to see what they had for #ghostpainting trend and all the good pics were taken. But I did find an item sold at Bloomindales and Neiman's that was priced to resell which is what I plan on doing. There is an excellent person who stocks the display shelves at the end of the aisles and that made it fun to check out the color-related items there. The wood decoratives were the best I have seen. All of these wood items can be re-designed for resell or re-enjoyment. There is enough there to get yourself a "channel", record the crafting and help others with ideas on how to repurpose the plain wood decoratives. May decoupage of the 70's be updated and come back! Heck. I may even do that! Bring back the tole flowers only updated for our new likings. So much to do with that aisle! There was no discount going on that day. I did not check out the clothes but there are plenty of aisles and notable were the hats in the store. I could see some of them well-made brands. Keep your eye open for quality hats there. Like to say thanks and...
Read moreUnfortunately this Goodwill is quite underwhelming. With the amount of floor space you would think there would be more options...it is either to often picked over or not enough in the way of donations. There also seems to be a "higher end" area now 🤔 We are talking $99 for a used London Fog trench! Now, if I were on Ebay, Mercari, estsy or Poshmark I might not have as much sticker shock as walking into your local Goodwill to find price segregation lol...I mean half the fun of Goodwill was hunting for those well made vintage pieces and scoring an unimaginable deal! Maybe they are attempting to get in on the recycled fashion game? Not sure but this location has very little selection in the way of decent treasures...the selection reminds me of the last few boxes left at the end of a garage/estate sale....
