Go for the crepes; even order delivery on the crepes--but examine the quiche personally. I've order several types of crepes every few months as I've visited over the past few years, and they have always been good--sometimes exceptional. I highly recommend the mixed berry crepes with custard, topped with whipped cream. I really liked the chicken with artichoke (or spinach) and mushroom sauce which I had delivered, but wish I had asked for extra mushroom sauce. I thought they were a bit miserly with the amount of sauce for such a large crepe. Their crepes are really big; I have seen friends/family eat all of one in a sitting, but mine last me for two meals. They have good options for buckwheat or regular (and maybe gluten free?) and a wide variety of choices on the fillings of both sweet and savory. It's fun to go there and sit at one of the two table on the side where you can actually view the crepes being made. As for the quiche, I have had really good quiche from there, but one time the quiche seemed days old and was inedible due to general 'crustiness'/staleness. I threw it out but when we went there for quiche and I told them about it, NOTHING was offered to us, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ORDERING CREPES AND A SIDE OF FRUIT that day! I know the manager overheard the conversation. The poor young waiter actually offered us a free slice of quiche when he delivered our crepes outdoors; my sis and I both felt sure he would have paid for it out of his own pocket, had we accepted. So 1 star to the owner/manager (?) for his lack of response to our honest complaint. When I first started going here a couple of years ago, they didn't even carry orange juice (or was it milk? : ), but now they do carry both, so I know they pay attention to customers some times. I love to come here or order delivery of crepes at least once every visit here, and after me talking it up to my son, he finally went here for crepes his last visit, and liked it so much, he came back a second time during their week's stay. So go check it it! Closed on Mondays,...
Read moreUsually love this place- good basic food, fast and reasonably priced. Today - a Saturday+ I stopped in for a quick lunch. They were busy but not overly ( several tables still open). Not sure if this cook today is new, but it took over 20 for my spinich mushrooms crepe... And I had to go ask for it. Then it comes to my table ... everything inside is raw . Sorry, but I didn't order spinich salad. So I went back to the counter and asked to have it cooked. To everyone'scredit, they jumped on it and had a new crepe on my table in about 6 min. And the spinich and mushrooms were cooked this time! Hooray! But still, I'm disappointed that the cook would have sent it out to me in the first place. I think he's a good guy but needs...
Read moreA hidden Gem for a great lunch! While travelling for business I always try to find local restaurants to lend my support to with the business partners that I travel with. While cruising around looking for lunch spots, their menu board caught my eye and my business partners have never experienced lunch crepes before. Despite pandemic restrictions, their menu was fully wide open and everyone in my party found something that tempted their cravings. The expanded outdoor seating with sanitized tables and seating was well thought out and the employees/owners take pride in every delightful dish that they serve. Highly...
