I went to this togos. On a Friday and the cashier taking my order was on her phone and after putting her phone down. The cashier proceeded to make my sandwich with the same gloves. After seeing this I told her can you please change your gloves. She looked down and was extremely bothered by me saying this. I couldn’t believe my eyes this person was going to use the same loaf of bread she handle with the filthy gloves used.after asking her to please use a different loaf of bread she did not before putting the contaminated loaf of bread back in the bag. At this point. That was it for me i told her to call her supervisor over. She callde her co worker over. Can you finish this I’ll be right back. I felt as she was going to cover herself without her supervisor being present there. Supervisor steps out no credibility whatsoever. Lack of communication skills the supervisor was focused on handling money frome the register did offer an apology was not sincere I felt. I askedfor a refund. Please everyone be ware especially if you have kids family and yourself. If they do this infront of you. I can’t imagine how they stir the tuna. And I’m not referring...
Read moreJust had the most disappointing sandwich from what used to be a reliable provider. Ordered a Hot Pastrami, a favorite, and the bread was absolutely the worst. Very thick, stale, dry, unyielding… if your bread is going to be that large, it has to be perfectly fresh and very soft, otherwise you’re eating a brick. togos used to be well-known for baking their bread fresh daily; I think that has gone by the wayside, and they must be keeping their bread around for much longer. That, combined with a very heavy hand on the garnishes in proportion to the meat, made for a really unenjoyable sandwich.
I really just don’t want to repeat this sad experience. Used to be good; now, it definitely is not. Not at all.
Update: the owner replied saying “the bread is fresh daily” but if that is what they’re calling fresh, they’ve lost their critical senses, and/or they’ve given up on trying to manage their supply chain. It used to be different. I’ve patronized this location for over 20 years with multiple owners and I can definitely say “bread freshness/quality has gone downhill”. Order a sandwich from Seabright Deli and compare the...
Read moreService: The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. I opted to give my order to them directly vs the kiosks, due to inability to customize my order on the kiosks. Both of the young workers were friendly and patient with me as I informed them of my preferences. All smiles and friendly vibes. This was a Wednesday evening.
Food: You get what you order, so be specific if you have specific desires. The quality has always been consistently good at any given Togos. This particular visit, my sandwich was made exactly how I asked and I was very happy when I was done eating.
Inside: As the light aroma of hot pastrami greets the nose, one might notice it is very clean upon entry. Well lit. Plenty of tables to dine in. A restroom for customers (the only part of this Togo's that I noticed to be not so clean or aesthetically pleasing).
Outside: Located in an outdoor strip mall. Parking is plentiful and fairly easy to get a close spot to the restaurant. A Yogurt Land is next door and it appears that the two restaurants provide outdoor seating together. This area of the mall looked well kept and...
