Mistake 1, July 2020: Tricked me by selling me Big-K root beer while stocking A&W in their fridge. Mistake 2, Feb 2021: Called in an order for three Standard without tomato.. all 3 came with tomato on them. Mistake 3, April 2021: Asked the Teenager on register to add an order of fries to my order i had already placed and gave them $5 cash and said keep the change. Everyone forgot about my fries as they went on break and i had to ask them again to make my fries which i had paid and tipped in advance for. Then instead of cooking the fries properly, they just dumped them in hot oil for 3 min and said here you go. Disgusting pile of oily undercooked fries. Mistake 4, May 2021: Called in an order, they said 10 minutes on the phone.I walked over and when i get there i asked if anyone called my name because I had walked there and wasnt sure if anyone had called my order yet.The teenager at the counter said no and i said ok and proceeded to wait patiently on the sidewalk. While im waiting I can hear the rude teenager talking trash about how I came to the window, asked her a quick question, and slowed "her" down. I could even hear her coworkers telling the poor flustered teenager to "calm down". Finally, when i saw that the two gentlemen that had ordered when i arrived to pick up my "10 minute" call in order had gotten their food before me.. I knew i would never come here and go out of my way to tell everyone i know to not waste their time or money on this place, trash food, or garbage immature teenage...
Read moreVery disappointed. Fatbelly used to be one of my favorite fast food burger joints ever since they first moved to Carbondale several years back. However, the last couple times I have visited, things have changed dramatically. The experiences have left me wondering if the ownership has changed. Consequently, I have changed my previous rating of 5 Stars to 2 Stars. The buns seem to be much lower in quality now. The wait time has been roughly 20 minutes the last two times as well. And what makes the wait time particularly noticeable is that the music is sooo loud and completely outside of any enjoyable genre, I can't wait to leave! This takes the option of sitting outside entirely off the table. I would suggest buying the cook some ear buds. Seriously. If you are going to have music at your restaurant, you should: 1. Consider your clientele, 2. (Or at least) Match it with the type of food you are selling, 3. Always adjust the volume to a reasonable level (a customer should not have to raise their voice to order or have a conversation with a friend). The past two experiences have left thinking that they don't seem to care anymore. And that is too bad... I used to really...
Read moreI love this place! I stopped by here two years ago while camping through the area, and it left a great impression on me. I often recalled it as the awesome burger place off in the mountains past Aspen. Well, today I happened to make a 2-hour addition to my summer road trip just because I had a hankering for these delicious, tasty burgers. I added the onion rings this time and boy did they not disappoint one bit! Had me the pepper burger with a Mexican Coke. So worth the fasting meal of cinnamon toast crunch for breakfast! The pepper burger is delicious, but it has a kick. If you're afraid of spicy, stick to the original and you'll be just fine.
Also grabbed me a regular burger, but with lamb. Took a bite in my truck and it's as tasty as the beef. No difference really. Just a delicious and much better rendition of In-N-Out if you ask me. If the Cali chain actually made them this good, I'd gladly hang up my Texas Whataburger boots in a hot...
