Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Carbondale

Nice to know after reading the other reviews that the GM still hasn't figured out how to verify that he's the business owner to get the hours changed here in Google after at least a month. I came here to eat this evening somewhere around the 8:30pm time range. The restaurant seating area was somewhat crowded with a softball team, but the food line was empty. Upon getting our order we proceed to get our drinks and the drink station was atrocious. The rug in front of the soda machine was soaked and standing in presumably water and/or soda and was an accident waiting to happen. There were also no lids for the drink cups. When we got to our table to eat there was no line up front and all four employees behind the counter were just talking and laughing it up. No effort was being made to clean up the mess on the floor. As we were eating they locked the door to get in. Thus was around 9pm which I thought at the time must be their closing time. While waiting for the other member of my party to use the very cold restroom I looked up their hours which state 10pm. Someone else even tried the door before we left. As we were leaving I saw that closing time for Friday and Saturday nights are listed there as 8pm. I come here on a somewhat regular basis with some co-workers for lunch and the 6 to 8 of us will not be back if this is the kind attention the staff pays to cleanliness and...

Extremely rude customer service from the manager! I placed an order online at 4:09pm and requested to have it ready at 5:15pm so that I could quickly pick up dinner for my family after work. I arrived at the store at 5:18pm and when I went to the pick up counter the cashier was not aware of the order. The manager then came out from the kitchen and stated that they would get started on that right away. I was okay with waiting a few minutes even though it seemed to be pretty slow at that time. When the manager brought my food to the table I was waiting at he quickly set it in front of me and walked away... no sorry for wait, here is your order... nothing. At that point I wanted to double check my order and complain about the unfriendly service so I went back to the counter and asked for a manager which is when I found out that the employee who was so rude was in fact the manager. When I started to explain my complaint I was told that customers that were in the store are more important than the ones that choose to order online and PRE-PAY for their food!!! Then he refused to give me a receipt and told me I could find it online and walked away. There were even customers in line who seemed to be upset as I was at the way the manager handled the situation. I will never return to this store and can only hope that the manager will someday experience the same level of customer service that...

If Qdoba and Firehouse Subs met and spawned a fast food joint, I would say that this place still missed that ideal mark.

The food was pretty okay. I do enjoy the idea of having a custom made order of quite large portions made to order but the end product did not meet the hype of the menu.

If this establishment's food met the hype made by it's admittedly awesome and spicy online menu descriptions (great job by the writer), it would be fantastic. Instead, the food is bland and awkwardly lukewarm like the music they have playing over their speakers. The free chips are what you can expect of free chips. Very thin and only work to serve you salsa.

Should you be a fan of very spicy salsa, you will be disappointed here for even the Carolina Reaper salsa they have on their nacho bar was the equivalent to simply putting a pinch of salt on your tongue. Even their hottest is mild.

The good news is that the employees are attentive to your order and are, for the most part, kind.
