My husband and I live out of town and wanted to try a Mexican buffet. It is very expensive around $15.95 and I’m sure it may have been the time of the day (5:30 pm) we came to make it taste so bad. Nothing tasted fresh and none of it was warm at all. I had to ask if they were going to bring out any more green chili enchiladas. After I asked he yelled in the back for more. I asked if the red ones were supposed to have meat and he said only cheese. I waited 15 minutes then asked again when they were coming out. He said they’re cooking. We barely made it out the door before she ran to get that...

Our server (Paco) and kitchen staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome at their restaurant. The red salsa that came with the chips was deliciously spicy and all of the food we ordered was very good!! The rice & beans that came with the plates we ordered were some of the best we’ve had. The beef (carne asada) was a little too tough and had to be chewed on for a while, so was hard to eat. The food was also extremely greasy so it was delicious but difficult to finish the meal. Overall, we recommend trying out this restaurant if you live in Carlsbad or are visiting one of the many tourist...
