ClusterTruck - Carmel — Restaurant in Carmel

Clustertruck is a DELIVERY ONLY kitchen offering over 100 restaurant-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items in a limited delivery area in Carmel, Indiana, generally from 96th Street to 146th Street (south to north) and from Towne Road to Keystone Pkwy (west to east). Customers order online via the Clustertruck app.

All menu items are prepared from scratch in the kitchen and delivered typically within 20-30 minutes of placing the order. There are no service or delivery fees. Customers meet the delivery couriers at the curb in front of their home, office, or designated meeting point within the delivery area (drivers do not get out of their vehicles to complete deliveries). Payment including any driver gratuity is made via the app and drivers carry no cash.

The menu includes a wide variety of choices: breakfast items (pancakes, croissants, biscuits and gravy, breakfast tacos, etc.), burgers, tenderloins, chicken sandwiches, wraps, pizza, wings, burritos, tacos, salads, noodles and rice, mac and cheese, numerous sides, desserts, a kids menu, and more.

Because the kitchen is a single point of contact that controls the entire process from order to delivery, food deliveries typically arrive much sooner than traditional national delivery service companies that may make deliveries for more than one restaurant. Hot food items typically are still hot upon delivery because they are handed directly from the kitchen to the courier just as the items finished cooking.

Some of my personal favorites: Smoked Pork Hash, the loaded quesadilla, the pork tenderloin, the breakfast croissant, the Cobb Salad, and the fried chicken sandwich.

Even if your home or office is not in the delivery area, customers can designate a location that IS within the delivery area and meet the courier at that location. This is a unique food delivery service unlike any other food delivery concept.

We ordered tonight with one of the many coupons I got in the mail, so finally tried it out. It was super fast delivery and I watched her come all the way here on my tablet ( the highlight of the night) so I knew right when to be at the end of my driveway. The food looked fresh and beautiful. There were just two of us and with 50% off we tried several things on the menu..

Egg rolls extra sauce (didn't need it) - although they were tasty, I felt the price was a bit much and probably wouldn't order again

Tuna Poke - Greens were super fresh, loved the watermelon radish, tuna was seasoned nicely, but and maybe I misread or didn't follow directions....the greens weren't dressed and I didn't order extra dressing (which I should have), but the tuna had enuff flavor I just mixed it all up and it worked. Its bigger than what it looks in the bowl and although the tuna was flavorful, I felt texture wise that it was frozen (I could be wrong), but good. Pricey but I would order again.

Spiced Chickpea Salad - Once again absolutely beautiful, nice spice on the chickpeas, beautiful avocado, purple cabbage and shredded carrots. The lemon tahini was tasty but sweeter than I like, I thought it should have had more of the citrus flavor. I would order again.

Steak noodle bowl - Husband's choice, looked amazing, also bigger than it looks, dressing was tasty. The only thing (and this is a personal preference) I know it's a cold bowl but I always prefer to have my protein cooked to order so the steak is warm.....it just works so well with the fresh, crisp, cool ingredients. I would order again.

The few things I think that could be improved are......having the ability to send special requests i.e. sauce on the side, etc. I also didn't like that the suggested driver tip was 10.00, I tipped that but I felt the suggestion was a bit assertive. So, without my coupon my order would have been 65.00, but there was another coupon stapled to my bag....winner winner

I had a GREAT experience with my first delivery with ClusterTruck thanks to the ease of using your app and the fantastic Kaylee, the driver that met me in a Target parking lot (since I live about 5 minutes outside of your delivery area). I was concerned about how a no-contact delivery would work, but did not need to be. I got a text from Kaylee giving me the color, make and model of her car and texted mine back to her. I had previously asked if we could meet on the south end of the Target parking lot. We found each other as soon as I turned into the parking lot. I pulled a few spaces away from her car, she got out with my order and I popped my trunk. She smiled and waved, put my order in my trunk and closed it. I gave her a thumbs up and waved and we had completed a quick and easy no-contact delivery. Thank you for having the paper products grocery package - this is so much easier than going from store to store only to find they don't have toilet paper or tissues! I love that I can rely on ClusterTruck and will order again. I'm checking out the food offerings and will add that the next time I order.
