This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Fazolis....wait times for everyone dining in were terrible. The entire dining room had to wait a half hour or more for their food. I was here alone and waited 45 mins for my 2 slices of pizza. I was attempting to show patience for a while then went up to the counter like everyone else had been doing and they didn't even know I was waiting for my food. I had my receipt but they didn't have my food order in their system. After a total of 1 hour after ordering I was handed my food. There were 2 managers working, named Taylor and Trisha. While I sat waiting for my food, the dining room was trashed. A group of teens walked in and after ordering they cleaned the dining room up for the workers. I was amazed they did it. Everyone who worked their seemed careless, and the kitchen staff was arguing loud enough to hear in the diningroom. There were 2 tables close to where I was seated that had waited an hour and a half and when 1 of the customers approached the counter, they were told they were out of spaghetti (which was what they ordered) the lady returned to the table and was discussing a change of entree, a worker brought them their food, it was cold and soggy, they had me even feel the temp. This was one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had....I, myself, and 4 other tables agreed we will never return to this location. How can there be 2 managers on duty and still not have a handle on what's going on....they were out of lids and forks and straws after I ordered and went to get my drink. This place should be ashamed. Some customers had paid, sat and waited almost an hour and just left without a refund or anything because they were going to be late for work. I'll never return to...
Read moreI came in during lunch and gave my order to a man who was very warm to the young women before me, yet instantly grew cold as soon as I approached the counter. There were no pleasantries, no thank you for your order, and he walked away to yell at other co-workers after handing me my receipt. After searching for clean silverware (several having food items stuck to them) I then had to search for a seat as several tables were empty, but not clean (plates still on them). I waited nearly 15 minutes for my food before it arrived (with no acknowledgement of the wait from the same guy that was so short with me at the counter), and immediately noticed the chicken was completely dry. Also, while I waited I got to listen to a member of the staff complaining about no one helping clean tables.
I decided to just deal with the food and eat it due to time (and at this point no longer trusting the staff if I complained). While eating, I noticed that no one was in the dining area to offer extra breadsticks (a usual occurrence at every other Fazolis I've been to). Once finished with my meal, I tried to clean my own table as it was obvious they could use the help but I had a difficult time placing my plates and trash away as both were completely overflowing. While I was doing that, I overheard a table nearby asking why their food was taking so long.
This was my first trip to this store and will be my last. I'm not sure if this is common for this location, but a person behind the counter that is selectively nice to customers, a dirty environment, and angry staff is enough to keep me from...
Read moreI'm so conflicted here... The food was decent and portions were good but the days of endless breadsticks has sadly come to an end (at least at this location)!
Don't bother asking for them either unless you're in need of eye rolls for days and sighs of attitude that would make you want to go ahead and say what you're thinking outloud.
The interior is in desperate need of updating in such a progressive and modern city where there something new everywhere you look.
I know customer service is a thing of the past too but honestly, if you hate your job this much just stay home.
This location is supposed to close at 10 pm as posted on the door but the cashier greeted us at 9:06 pm with...and I quote..."just so you know we close in 45 minutes so you can eat in if you can be done by then."
When you see others in the dining room and you question that her the sign on the door says 10 pm and ask if that is correct, her reply...outloud...is "I gotta call corporate about that" then...only about as rudely as anyone can...unhappily takes your order, it can really be enough to bring down even the most upbeat of people.
Honestly, if this is the best attitude you can hire in Carmel, Indiana, then you probably should close early so as not to subject people to this incredibly unhappy place.
Sorry Fazolies, I've loved you for years and years but I certainly won't...
