Pizza King — Restaurant in Carmel

Service gets a 0. I called to place an order for delivery, and they tried to tell me I’m out of their delivery zone, when I tell them I fall directly in their map on the website, they back tracked and said oh ya we can deliver. Then they tried to play the “sorry we can’t hear you”. Everytime I tried to speak. I had full bars of service, and in a quiet room. I’ve never had issues with my phone, so I thought maybe it was me. I called back & they didn’t answer. I called my husband to check my cell connection, and he could hear me crystal clear. No issues.

Sounds like Pizza King workers were being lazy and didn’t want to do their jobs. If they were short staffed, and couldn’t deliver, then I would have understood and been happy to pick up. But the fact that they pull this shit is unacceptable.

Instead I called again, no answer. I honestly can’t believe how unprofessional these guys were. If you don’t want to deliver or make pizzas, maybe don’t work at a pizza place.

Hopefully the manager/ owner of this location can correct these behaviors. I’ll give this place another shot after they have improved...

10-3-2024 -Just an update on my review. I ordered a 10" meat feast pan pizza and it was delectable. The got it to me very quickly. It arrived hotter than you can put in your mouth. It was delicious and looked great too when I opened the box. Still extremely happy with this Pizza King!

Previous review: I have gotten pizzas from Pizza King for years -- and they are great -- but, I have never gotten a sandwich or anything else from them. I ordered the Beef Boat Deluxe, whole sandwich and it was incredible. Frankly, I would have gotten the half order if I had realized how HUGE it is. The Beef Boat deluxe is a full 12" long sub sandwich with shaved roast beef, lettuce, tomato, mayo and brown gravy. It was delicious and, I should say again, it was HUGE. Frankly I got a real amazing value for the price. It also came with a big bag of ruffly potato chips and a pickle spear. I could have gotten a 12" sub at one of the other johnny sub-station way type of shops, but none of them make it this big and delicious. I'll be ordering again from Pizza King soon. Maybe the stromboli...

Called the store and asked if they had Deep Dish Pizza and he said yes! I co tinted to order and asked about sizes and told me 14-16 inches. Once I received the food notice it was wrong. I called the store and simply was looking to get what was SUPPOSED to be ordered and told me NO. I paid 70 for two thin crust pizza and only called for the PAN pizzas . Even though I paid for delivery and tipped him really well, I offered to bring it back and get the pizza I was SUPPOSED to get and told me NO again.

I will never order here again for simply they didn’t want to fix there mistakes!

Popa John’s has better service than this place! Now I’m stuck with these simple pizzas I could have bought from Walmart!

Don’t waste you money! These pizzas are trash! Customer Service...
