This is to provide a review but as well general feedback, my wife and I have been to 30+ breweries and from that this was one of the less if not least pleasurable experiences. Here is where we thought things could have been better.
1.) Retapping using the same glasses i.e reusing the same glasses over and over, this taints the flavor of each individual beer. If I start with a brown the switch to an IPA that will completely take from the individual brew.
2.) Waiting in line to get a beer, this made it feel like a fast food restaurant and not a true taproom experience. Granted waiting to get served is normal but having to wait in line really takes away from the relaxing portion of the experience.
3.) We did the pint nite/8 flight experience and had fresh flight glasses BUT yet had to use the same cup. So you poured 1/3 of a pint we drank it then had to come back and wait in line "again" and "again" 8 separate times. Again this goes back to reflection of #1 and #2.
4.) I do not know if because it was early in the day vs. at night but in all it just felt very unorganized and all over the place where it seemed where the workers/owner were more focused on cutting cost/time by not offering fresh glasses, the 8 individual flights and more.
Hope this helps gain better insight on your business as we lover great beer and breweries and feel there is much room for overall...
Read moreMy fiance and I had been wanting to check this place out for quite some time because it's a brewery and has a small disc golf course on site.
The staff was really friendly upon entering. They don't have any gluten free or gluten reduced beer, which was disappointing for me. They do have a seltzer that they make in house and some wines. I chose to get a glass of wine because their seltzer was too sweet for me personally. My fiance tried a couple of their beers and really liked them both.
We checked out the disc golf course, which was pretty darn good for the small plot of land it's on. A really good design, good signage and tight, shorter shots.
They also have a really nice side patio with a ton of seating and plants. That area is very dog friendly, which would've been great for us if we had our pup along on this trip.
Overall, it was a great stop on our journey and I would've given them 5 stars if they had some gluten free/gluten reduced...
Read moreI had the pleasure of hosting the welcome party to my wedding weekend at Good Hops, and man, they exceeded every expectation. We had originally planned the party to take place elsewhere, but at 4-weeks out we had to pivot. This has always been a favorite spot of ours and we were so thankful to be able to host all our out-of-town guests here. They absolutely knocked it out of the park, especially for it being a last minute event. The staff was extremely helpful with setting up welcome bags & dessert table, along with opening up some extra space in the back (due to the rain). The bartenders were amazing & super kind to all our guests. They even gave us a thank you bag full of swag not only for us but for our dog as well. I could not recommended this spot more - for a causal lunch, a game of Frisbee golf, or to host all your favorite people the night before your wedding. Thank...
