Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Carrollton

I have had one of the most delightful experience today when I decided to walk into my neighborhood Dickies on Hebron

The last time I had bbq were in SC and after moving to Texas I wanted to reintroduce myself to bbq and I am glad I decided to do it and walk into dickies today

The food was excellent I bought the ribs plate and I was so lucky I got the burnt ends as well - they are to die for — I would just buy the burnt ends if I can

But it’s not the food at Dickies that is the reason for my delight - it’s their people . Manager Phil( I think his name were Phil but if I got it wrong please forgive me ) and his employee were so helpful in helping me get reintroduced to bbq and they were so nice when I told them that I have been wanting to try bbq and I didn’t know much about it . He was so helpful and he would not let me walk out without a drink even though I did not order one — this is what is going above and beyond . I have only seen videos like that on YouTube , never did I think I will feel I will see such human beings in real life . They gave me an experience I will never forget and hard to beat by any other store . Thank you , thank you . I will be...

A female worker perhaps named Angelique (she hesitated to give out her name), was very rude and unprofessional.

She refused to fulfilled the complete orders despite of me showing her all the order receipts and even my credit card charges from Dickey's. Matter of fact, she didn't even want to see them and being so rude about it.

She kept saying that she didn't get other tickets for our other orders. I told her that I don't know what are dickey's process of getting orders. All I know is as a customer, I ordered 4 sandwiches on 4 different order (4 in the family) separately, have proof but yet she refused to fullfill them. She even went further by mentioning if there're customers like me asking the same thing. I responded that how is that has anything to do with me. I have been goiing to Dickey's for quite some time and never been disrespected like that before.

There are 4 different order receipts, my credit card charged 4 times but only 1 sandwich received. I have filed my complaint to customer service. She said that the owner will call about this but of course nobody has...

I have ordered out and occasionally dined in here a numbers of times this past year, every so often I find my experience being a little disappointing. (Bar-B Que sandwich and fries) and a chocolate cake that was more dried out than it should have been. But I keep coming back because I've had more positive experiences than bad ones. like yesterday the sandwich I ordered was perfect !!! the bun it was served on was nice and fresh. the chopped beef was incredible hot and perfectly served. I wasn't real crazy about the seasoning on the waffle fries, but they were good anyway. I skipped getting a dessert item.
