This team is AMAZING. I went through the drive-thru on December 7th which is around 9 days ago and before my food was even ready, my 3-year-old asked to go to the bathroom. I let the person know I needed to come in and would grab my food there. I parked went inside and helped her in the bathroom. Grabbed my food and left.
The next day I realized that I was missing my headphones which were newly purchased and were the result of painstaking research to figure out which headphones would actually work for my needs. I turned my house upside down. I turned my car upside down. I looked everywhere that I could possibly think to look and nothing.
As a last ditch effort. I tried to call the Dunkin store. For some reason their phone doesn't work. I tried the other store in Carrollton. Their phone also doesn't work. I posted on LinkedIn but then quickly got shamed into deleting the post because it was silly to think that my headphones would ever come back to me.
This morning I felt an unwarranted optimism and thought I would stop in just to check. Dvante immediately went to the back to look through their lost and found while I ordered food and waited. The rest of the team was chatting with me and they were all very kind. I reiterated how I seriously doubted anything would come of his search, but that this was my last hope and those earbuds were probably gone forever.
After a few minutes one of the other team members went back to check and she relayed a couple of additional questions. What color were they? What do they look like? Any other distinguishing characteristics? I figured he wasn't finding anything to but was being thorough which I appreciated.
Then he comes around the corner with my headphones in hand, s them to the other team member and she hands them to me. I was in shock. This team is amazing! Thank you so much for whoever ended up turning them in and for the team for saving them. You guys are...
Read moreJune 2024- We recently came here on Donut Day. Let me say the inside has been remodeled nicely. The service still sucks. As they are extremely slow and no passion to go faster. They were out of a lot of donuts and we got there early on a Saturday. I was also disappointed because 1 of our donuts tasted old and was hard. My son’s Charro iced coffee was incorrect. We had to tell the workers this is wrong please fix it. In which they did but not before asking well what’s wrong with it? When I explained it should be mixed and whipped cream was missing and it taste funny, that’s when they fixed it. I got a refresher and the strawberry tasted funny as well. This place needs the old management back or a wake up call to the new management. There are loyal Dunkin Donuts fans and you need to figure out the root of the problems to fix. We don’t have many locations around DFW which should motivate you to be even a step better than the competitors. Goodness. Another epic fail at this location.
Jan 24- This location has gone downhill the past few months. Not sure if it’s under new management or what occurred. You go and see items on the menu only to be told it’s discontinued. Why is it on the menu still? They offer a substitute and that’s either out of stock or again discontinued. Train these employees then to know what’s available and not and remove items off the menu if they are no longer available. The service time frame has gotten longer and longer. I used to love going here because they were quick and great service since about August 23-now this location is horrible. Ordering ahead does nothing because the service is still slow. I would come here because they were better than Starbucks and breakfast was great but now this location will have to be on my don’t even bother unless...
Read moreI was in here earlier today, after having a rough time dealing with a bit of a road bump in my life, looking for a pick-me-up treat in the form of a donut. The woman at the counter (I apologize for not remembering your name, I'm terrible at remembering names, and need lots of repetition seeing and hearing them until they stick in my dumb brain), she was an absolute delight! She was so sweet and kind and all smiles! Helped to turn my day around! There was a sample of a part of a donut for patrons who who walked in, the Baker's Choice? I think that's what basket it was in, seems like one that changes from time to time, it was a little sample of a strawberry frosted jelly donut. Now, at first, I was looking for an apple and cinnamon one, but they were out for the day, second choice was a lemon jelly donut, and she mentioned it. Now, the bite I got was mostly strawberry frosting, and I misunderstood thinking it was a strawberry jelly donut. I was wrong, and I regret not getting more of them! Such a simple, yet effective combination of strawberry frosting and lemon filling, to make a DELICIOUS strawberry lemonade donut! It was a phenomenal suggestion and I just wish I had gotten more of that one instead of just going for a wider variety of flavors of different donuts. It was great, and helped turn my otherwise bad day from earlier into a much better one. Thank you so very much! And management, if you're reading this, give her a raise! She was truly wonderful with her customer service and was very helpful and patient with my indecisive ADHD self!~
