Friend asked me to meet him there. he knows I only eat Burgers medium rare. I asked if they will cook them to order and he said he had already asked them and yes they would cook it medium rare.
Quite a drive from SMU but more than happy to do it for a friend. And he said the burgers were great and juicy.
Place in the order I asked if they would for sure cook medium rare if not I would be sending it back. Said most definitely no problem but then the manager came over and said they had to cook them well done!
I actually begged the manager please I drove all the way from smu. To meet my friend here. They told him they would cook it medium rare. And the guy just told me he would cook it medium rare. Can you please make this one exception this one time.
I even asked if he could just cook it the least little bit that he could that wasn't well done and he said no. Then he went over and chastised the employee for saying that they would
I started to order french fries. Just so I can have something to nibble on while my friend was eating his burger. I don't remember the price for $5 for a small fries.
So my friend paid $13 for a burger without any fries and I think he was drinking water.
He said the burger was so dry. And he was so disappointed. $13 he would not be back.
It was a little bit of a drive back to Addison near the airport to Burger Street
Double meat double cheeseburger .. TENDER MEAT n fresh bun. Swiss cheese! Real swiss cheese with holes in it lol. Medium rare with choice of tater tots or curly fries and a large drink for $13. N piping fresh hot!
By the way there were only three of us in the place. And I think I saw three or four of the big baskets of fries being dropped down. You think those were going to be fresh by the time somebody arrived to eat them?
I'm going to leave a photo of my Burger Street so you'll know what you're missing or what you missed unless you get in the car and drive down...
Read moreOkay where to start. The uppers: my burger was good and the cashier was sweet. Now for the downers: besides prices being absurdly high, $10 for a cheeseburger alone, there are signs posted everywhere about all their success articles for being a great burger priced cheaply. But when it no longer lives up to those standards and is expensive its kind of painful to see those articles. My wallet wept for me. Moving on from price to the fact there are no combos available. Every item is separate. It makes the bill for just 2 people to eat even sharing fries almost $30. No combos for a place like that is strange. The fries? We got cajun. Cajun seasoning is good and powerful enough to have an easy light coating. I don't like my already soggy, zero crisp fry to be hidden underneath spices. Very salty too. They brag that the fries are creamy, but I don't know anyone who prefers soggy over a light crisp. We waited about 20 minutes for burgers and fries. When called to pickup our order number we approached the counter but it wasn't bagged. Instead he completed someone else's order, called them up, waited for them to pick it up before bagging ours which was called first minutes ago and handing it to us. I went back to get an oreo milkshake. That was good too. But I could have gotten the same milkshake and size at sonic for $3.75 not $5.90 . It's just not worth $30...
Read moreIm a fan of " Five Guys." However, my visit at the Hebron Pkwy location was an absolute "disappointment" in Carrollton, Texas, location. Bad experience. Customer service was bad also. The guy at the front counter just stared at me and didn't say hello or welcome... all customers should be greeted no matter who you believe the customer is a good customer or bad customer... "Doesn't Matter." You never know who's walking into your establishment. And to say, the staffers were really unprofessional. And to top off my bad experience,
