Very nice establishment! First time trying this place and would highly recommend. The customer service was honest, with very nice hospitality. We were told the portion sizes would be a little much, and we were provided a to go box, even though we wanted to eat in. And he was absolutely correct! We needed a box from getting full so quick.

There is little pamphlets on the counter, for convenience with a few listed prices. For more pictures and menu prices, there is a large screen TV that provides the information.

The chicken kebab meal was juicy, white garlic sauce delicious, fries crispy and well seasoned. The pickled vegetables were a refreshing flavor to pair with the meal. The falafel meal, nice and crispy, was excellently paired with olive oil hummus. And the chicken wrap had perfectly charred veggies. I came here for the first time today and had the absolute pleasure of meeting Ali, the owner of Shami’s. He was extremely hospitable and we got to talk and know each other a little bit.

The restaurant interior is cozy with beautiful ceiling tiles and a family-friendly atmosphere.

I tried the Shawarma Sandwich combo meal, which comes with the most crispy yet fluffy crinkle cut fries I’ve had in a long time (even though the order was takeout), an amazing housemade garlic sauce that has such a strong fresh garlic flavor, and an assortment of pickled vegetables to balance everything out.

The Shawarma Sandwich itself was fantastic. The meat had such a great ratio of crispiness to juicy meat, the wrap was perfectly toasted for a satisfying bite, and whatever that tangy fruity black sauce is… I WANT MORE!!

Finally, the pistachio baklava was the perfect million-layered crispy dessert to end my meal.

Walked in location of Plano and seen a smaller than usual menu so my significant other was prone to leave as we were on our way out the owner/manager stopped us and asked us to wait bc he wanted to give us a sample of what we’ll b missing! We sat down and waited abt 3-4 minutes and he came around the counter. A trey of two tortilla/burrito looking things w/ a side cup of sauce! I didn’t know what to think! We took them and walked to the car in the car we opened them up and tried! When I tell you these were the best fajitas shamis taco Idek what it was but it was sooo delicious!!
