we go to johnny's pizza quite a lot but after the way we were treated tonight not sure if we will go again and this is the 3rd time there has been problems at this place ...first we ordered the buffalo chicken dip and it came out in big chunks of chicken and not shredded but we didn't say anything we just ate what we could....second I ordered a garden salad with no mushrooms and very few onions well I get my salad and it is full of onions and some mushrooms and it tasted so bland that was the worst salad I ever had and I didn't eat it.....and then we ordered hot wings and fries and everytime before when we ordered this they came out on 2 different plates but this time they came on the same plate and they were only about 10 fries on the plate and the wings were not quite done and slimy …..we ask the waitress about the fries and why so few fries were just thrown on the wings and we were not paying that price for that little bit of fries and she said the cook will cook so more well he did and she brought them out and again about 10 very small fries....$35 dollars and still leave hungry ….everything we had tonight was awful and like I said it all tasted bland and to top it all off the waitress and the cook were very rude and she told the cook we were complaining and they both were standing laughing and the waitress was telling the others and they would turn around and look at us ...this is the first time we have seen this waitress and it will be the last....money talks and walks and ours is walking and we are telling all the people that we know about this place...looking at all the bad reviews I don't think it will be there much longer and one of the good reviews is from a waitress that works there...your answer to some of the other reviews is you will get with the management well they are the problem....and the people behind us got up and left cause nothing was right and the waitress...
Read moreHATE FILLED PEOPLE WITH LOATHING AND PREJUDICE! Don't go here. As a former fan of J's pizza (even have positive reviews here from Dublin location) I'm done with Johnny's. Was working driving all day, hadn't eaten. Saw this place, said WOW, I'll grab a slice of my fave pizza. After a half an hour wait for one slice, was given a half sized, overpriced version of their pizza with rancid sliced meatball. Pizza was burned to a crisp, to the point that the crust disintegrated upon touching it. I couldn't wait for a refund, so left it on the counter, after explaining how baffling this was to the snarky cashier. And, that I would talk to my bank. ...NO APOLOGY, ...NO DESIRE TO MAKE AMMENDS. Instead, got a sarcastic " Have good one" ...Got it, no F's given! Save your money, unless you want to frequent this place and pay for subpar overpriced questionable food with a side of sass, rather than sauce... UPDATE After recieving a response from management, I would like to clarify that the term prejudice refers to "pre judging" prejudice /prĕj′ə-dĭs/ noun The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions. An adverse judgment or opinion formed unfairly or without knowledge of the facts. "a boy with a prejudice against unfamiliar foods." At no time did I mention race or other factors in my review, and the fact that it was mentioned is a BIG RED FLAG imho. I have already contacted my bank, and had the charge reversed. Though I commend the effort to not discriminate as stated, it is no excuse for shoddy, rude, dismissive and indifference of staff when dealing with customers, or unhygienic, shabbily prepared and overpriced food. (I pay $6 and change for same slice at other locations, not 8) As I said, I'm done, and leave you with the same words I stated when leaving the locale...
Read moreI usually am not the type to leave negative reviews because I get that mistakes happen, but today I’m just too irritated to let it go. I’ve gone to Johnny’s 3 times in the last 3 months and had drastically different experiences each time. In April, I went for dine-in and had a lovely experience. I ordered 10 lemon pepper wings (all flats and was fine with the up-charge) and then I asked for a side of the wet lemon pepper sauce instead of ranch. Some places won’t do that, but I figured I would ask anyway. The waitress was lovely and even explained how she made it into a sauce. The second time, in May, was a pick up order for my family. On the phone we were told that they absolutely could not do all flats, that wasn’t possible. We even asked the girl on the phone to ask someone else (she had admitted this was her first week so she might not have known but we knew it was on the menu for an up-charge). She insisted that they absolutely could not do all flats and we just accepted that as such. I thought maybe policy had changed. Tonight, my family goes to eat at Johnny’s and planned to surprise me with wings because I was home sick. They ordered the wings and again saw that the menu said you could order all flats. So, they ordered all flats and paid for all flats… what arrived is clearly not all flats. If they hadn’t been charged the $4 for all flats, I probably would have just eaten them with no fuss. Oh, and if you are wondering about that container with the yellow substance… yeah that’s supposedly the “wet lemon pepper sauce”…. It’s just a container of butter. But they assured my family it was in fact lemon pepper sauce. All in all… I’m kinda just fed up with Johnny’s. When they get it right, they do a bang up job! I just haven’t gotten to experience Johnny’s getting it...
