What yall know about some Martins? #georgia #ga #bowdon #carrolltonga #villaricaga #douglasville #mabelton #austell #carterville #rome #hiram #temple #biscuitsandgravy #breakfast #flex #biscuit #martinsrestaurant

I have visited numerous Martins restaurants and they all need a good cleaning inside and out. The corporate office is, I think, located in Mableton. Does someone not come out and check these restaurants? Do they not understand that if they improved their cleanliness and drive thru process they could function on the level of Chick-fil-A and probably triple their sales? I can't tell you how many times I have passed by and not stopped because the drive thru was so backed up? Hire me, be willing to spend a little money and I would triple your profit, I promise. You got to be willing to spend money to make money. In addition, hire more people who take a little pride in their work, yes that means paying a little more labor cost, but at least they can put a biscuit together correctly. By the way, the only reason you got a 2 is that you got some darn good food!

I was eating a biscuit and found a partial tooth with decay on it. I took it to the restaurant to show them. The person at the counter was EXTREMELY rude. She said it wasn’t hers and offered NO APOLOGY. She finally gave me a refund, but was the most hateful person I’ve ever encountered. She never stopped reading the paper in her hand. When I asked to see the manager, she rudely stated that she was the manager.

re: Martins of Carrollton, GA

Sir or Ma'am,

You might consider the rant of a mad woman!

Let me start at the beginning. I've had a busy morning, running here, running there, trying to squish too many things into my day as usual. There was no time for stopping by home and making a meal so I decided I would hit the local Martin's the way to my next appointment. I really wanted a nice salad but ya'll were on the way so I settled. Big mistake! So I order a simple hamburger, small onion ring and water!

Time stamp on my ticket, 11:44 AM

Did I warn you the rant has started?!?! AT 11:58 the manager asks me what I am waiting for? Really? REALLY??

"The onion rings to go with the cold hamburger that has been on the shelf for 10 minutes." I reply.

So she shouts to the back of the store, "Where those rings?" and the reply "Oh, I'll mix up some batter."

So WHY is it that a hamburger joint doesn't have batter made and ready to go at NOON? I should NOT be standing there 19 minutes unless they had to run out to the store and buy some onions!

By this time my frustration was really beginning to boil over. I told her to forget the rings and just give me fries... She shouts to the back again, "Forget the rings, drop me some fries."

OMG! What the heck is wrong with you people that you don't have fries ready at 12 noon?!?!?

IF this was a single occurrence maybe I wouldn't be so aggravated, but every time I go to one of these fast food places it takes FOREVER to get food that's not even good for me. Plus, most of the time the food itself doesn't taste good either. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a greasy burger and rings as much as the next girl, I just don't indulge as much as I used to. So when I do, I want it I want it fast and I want it hot. Not with a stale bun or cold rings.

Alright so all that and I'm not even to the best part yet. So after waiting 20 minutes for my SLOW food, did I get an apology, or the manager saying "Thank you for your patience." Do I get the any courtesy or respect for my time? No what I got was a very perfunctory "Sorry, have a nice day." thrown over her shoulder as I am being dismissed.

I don't know about you but I dislike being treated with disdain. If I am such a burden on this person's day at work, perhaps I should make sure to choose another place to eat.

Please pass this next bit along to your line workers ~ I'm sorry you work there, but it is your job to serve people pleasantly. I know it sucks, I know you are tired, you feel greasy and gross. You want to know why I know? I did it too. I worked at McD's for 5 years, yes YEARS. When I did I was pleasant to customers. I gave them respect, apologized sincerely when I took a long time or messed up an order.

So that's it. This just might be the straw that broke the camels back. I am TIRED of paying for bad for you food and really crappy service at these 'fast food joints' I'm done.

The family is not going to like this, but I am starting a boycott of fast food restaurants that do not provide good service or good food.

You want my business? Show me. Get your house in order... Life is too short to waste on...

We always loved Martin's in Carrollton. It used to be our Saturday brunch place because those who wanted breakfast could get it and everyone else could order lunch. Sadly, it changed after covid. The service is poor and it is hard to get the food you ordered. They used to give 10% off for phone orders over $50. That discount is still on the website, but they no longer bother answering the phone. We started going in to order our pickup orders, but that takes forever so we switched to online ordering for pickup. Last time I did it, they left out a whole sandwich. This time my husband ordered and went to pickup. Both "deluxe" burgers were made with cheese only and the hashbrowns we're left off completely. He took the order into them when he realized it was wrong and they argued with him. The cook said she made deluxe burgers. He showed her they were just cheeseburgers, and did not have the lettuce, tomato, or onion in the menu deluxe. She told him they were ordered wrong. The lettuce and tomato are pictured on the deluxe burger and listed as included on the menu. The online ordering gives you an option to take them off, it doesn't ask if you really want what you're ordering. After arguing with him, they took the burgers back, added a half cup of diced onion to each and a tiny piece of lettuce, and said they were done. Still no tomato. Maybe they ran out of tomato,or forgot it is listed as part of the deluxe on their menu? This will be our last trip to Martin's of Carrollton. We are tired of having to double check every order and argue to try to get them fixed. Very disappointed in how badly this place...

Martin’s Has Officially Lost a Loyal Customer

I’ve been a devoted customer of Martin’s since 2006, but after today, I’m done. This place used to be a reliable staple for me, especially after a catastrophic leg injury took away my ability to drive. Ordering online became my lifeline, and for a while, Martin’s delivered—literally and figuratively.

My order is not complicated. The same thing every time: a tenderloin biscuit with bacon, cheese, and extra butter, a side of cheese grits, and either an orange juice (NO ice) or black coffee with creamer and sugar in the bag. And let’s not forget one crucial detail—no burned bacon. Simple, right? Apparently not.

For the last FOUR orders, I’ve had nothing but carelessness and incompetence. Instead of my usual, I’ve been given a bacon biscuit with no cheese (why?!), cold food, and despite my specific request, ice in my orange juice—a slap in the face when I’ve made it clear I have teeth sensitivity. It’s beyond frustrating.

But today was the final straw. The complete disregard for my order, my money, and my loyalty makes it clear that Martin’s doesn’t value its customers anymore. I’m not just some random one-time buyer; I’ve been supporting this place for nearly two decades. And now? They’ve lost me for good.

If you’re looking for a place that actually cares about getting your order right, Martin’s isn’t it. Their customer service is non-existent, their attention to detail is laughable, and frankly, their disrespect has cost them a lifelong customer.

I’ll take my business elsewhere. Maybe they’ll...
