7-30-24: Our visit to McAlister's Deli was an absolutely delightful experience! 🌟

I ordered the Sweet & Smoky Chicken with Sea Salt and Vinegar Chips, and it was a flavor explosion in every bite! 😋 The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of sweetness and smokiness. The sea salt and vinegar chips were the perfect side, adding a nice crunch and tangy kick that complemented the sandwich wonderfully. 🥪🍗

My wife opted for the Ham and Cheese Melt with Sea Salt Chips, and she was equally impressed. 🧀🥪 The melt was oozing with cheesy goodness, and the ham was savory and delicious. The sea salt chips provided a great crunch alongside the melt, making for a satisfying and hearty meal.

The atmosphere at McAlister's was warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the overall vibe made it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. 🧼🍴

One of the highlights of our visit was the quick service. Our food arrived promptly, and everything was fresh and hot. ⏱️🍽️

In addition to the excellent food, the variety on the menu is impressive. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for a sandwich, salad, or a hearty bowl of soup. 🥗🍲

Overall, McAlister's Deli provided an outstanding dining experience. The Sweet & Smoky Chicken and Ham and Cheese Melt were both top-notch, and the sea salt chips were a perfect accompaniment. We left with full bellies and big smiles on our faces. 😊👍

New location, same old problems.

Unfortunately, while I gave this location a 5 star review in the past I was forced to delete it and do a new post to more accurately reflect their current food and service.

Namely, while McAlister's as a whole still has a menu that I very much enjoy, too often have I run into quality control issues such a wilted and nearly rotten vegetables in my salad, or poorly put together sandwiches.

This latest and possibly last straw for me is an order of their chicken salad sandwich delivered via Door dash which was handled properly by the delivery driver, but upon opening up the container, I saw a very poor and sad little scoop of chicken salad hidden within the crossaint shell.

Who in their reasonably right mind would think this is ok for a $12 sandwich? At best this is very bad quality control and laziness, and at worst I would argue this is fraudulent.

In any event, I felt this needed to be known by the public and I certainly won't be ordering delivery from this location anymore. That way, if something is wrong I can personally ask for it to be remade or refunded.

I placed an order to go for 5 people. I had specific requests for each sandwich, so it was not a simple order. The staff was very friendly, read my order back to ensure they entered it correctly, and offered me a drink while I waited. The young lady at the register followed up with the people in the kitchen to make sure they understood the special requests, which was reassuring.

I checked my order before I left the restaurant, and everything was exactly as ordered. After I checked my order at a table, a young man came over from behind the counter and offered to carry the bags to my car for me. The staff appeared young but well trained.

The restaurant was very clean, napkins and condiments were well stocked from my vantage point. I was impressed with the customer service, and the food was delicious.
