Not impressed. I only went in because subway was closed. I was not greeted when I walked in and no one wanted to make eye contact, which was strange because the 3 people sitting there staring at me were employees. Although I spoke up and said hello several times before I got a response.
Who I assumed to be the owner took my order. I viewed the menu and told him what I wanted. I guess he saw me try to go into subway because he kept offering a sandwich although I chose my order already. Even when I repeated my order, he still asked me if I wanted to try the sandwich. Reluctantly, I tried the sandwich. Now this better be the best sandwich I ever tasted if he was pressing me like that, right? WRONG!
The sandwich was dry. No sauces on it and bread flaky for an Italian sandwich!? The bread tasted old and the meat tasted really old as well. Worst $9 I ever spent. The ice had little black specs in them and I had to keep rising my cup out just to get some clean ice and I bet it still wasn’t clean. Fed the rest to my dog because I couldn’t finish it.
Save your money and time and don’t go here especially if you’re hungry or expecting good...
Read moreGotta say, seriously disappointed with the pizza I just picked up here. Pretty overpriced for the size of pizza I got but it was supposed to be the "best pizza around" so I overlooked that. I'm sitting here now eating it and it's chewy like it's been microwaved too many times (actually making my jaw sore), quite small, and tastes about as amazing as something I'd get out of the freezer at Walmart. I can't help but be a little annoyed I paid $20 for something I could have gotten better at the grocery store. The place was nice and the staff was very friendly and courteous, all compliments there. Maybe their other food is better, but I just feel ripped off and won't be going back. I tried this place out because it was closer to my house and had good reviews, but I gotta say, if all you want is pizza, go to Joe's Pizza, Pasta & Subs off Beltline and Josey. They'll give you a bigger, better tasting pizza for less money. (No I don't work for them, I just like their pizza better) Sorry for the negative review, I don't usually leave bad feedback, but I after eating this I want my...
Read moreHello, I (we) just got back from Paparazzi's. It was about my fourth visit, except this time, well, this time. Let me be brief, I am originally from Chicago and delivered pizza(s) there for about a year. I am half-Italian and half-Sicilian. So, I have some Italian food/Pizza street cred..
This evening I asked for my usual Eggplant pizza (that George and Bernard also top with shaved garlic and shaved parmigiana. No, not the parmesan you get in the green can...Parmigiana! However, tonight, I asked them to also put some marinara on top.....It was the single best pizza of my life. My friend agreed. It was so extraordinary they Christened it..."The Mascari." Not that I am extraordinary, but it was my final ingredient that made it truly a pi ece de resistance (my French sucks, but there).
This place is simply great. George and Bernard are in the major leagues and they are kinda like my beloved Oakland A's. they need to be playin in front of more fans. Five stars, wish I could give six, but turned up to "11."
