I just moved my dad in, and every bit of this difficult time has been made easier by this wonderful facility. My father was not excited to move to an apartment after losing his home to a fire, but once he saw this amazing facility, he changed his mind.

The property is gorgeous… from the elegant and inviting decor to the gorgeous landscaping. His apartment is warm, honey, with gorgeous touches, like marble counters, dark wood cabinets, beautiful laminate flooring and EASILY the best kitchens I've ever seen in senior living, with beautiful woodwork, custom backsplash and my favorite — a kitchen window! Oh, and did I mention that about 20 feet from his patio is a lovely Lake with a fountain? Or that the lake is just part of a surrounding system of parks and recreation areas, and just on the other side is a senior center and library?

But the staff there is truly amazing — especially executive director Janelle who patiently answered every question and listened to dads stories (with genuine interest, I might add), and had a beautiful new tacklebox waiting on the counter when he moved in. My grandfather, mom, dad and I toured this facility last week, and we really loved it. It was a great property, it’s nice being by the water and the walking trail. We had dinner, and the food was one of the best of all the places we have toured. When my grandfather came home he said “This place is too good to be true” In a nice way, I could tell he was relieved that there were good places out there.

Gerry was great and answered all of our questions. Of the places Josey stood out and Gerry was able to offer a great rate of just $2300 a month *with a $10,000 community fee option you save $500 on rent, so you earn back the deposit through the discounted monthly rent price. My grandfather plans to stay for as many years possible so we are happy with the deal. He is still deciding on which independent living community to join, but the family is really hoping he chooses Lakeview. Will post an update if he does end up...

I love this property! Me and my mom did a tour, and I absolutely LOVE this place for her. The staff was friendly and Jeanell, I believe the executive director did our tour. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! So friendly, definitely the epitome of southern charm and professionalism! She showed us the entire property and I wish I could have moved here myself. My mom moved in and I feel good knowing that she will be safe, and loves her new place! She’s been here for a few months now and she still loves it, and has even made friends in the community. The staff have been helpful to her while I live out of state. I can rest at night knowing she is safe and enjoying her retirement.
