We usually like this place, but today was different. The waitress did her job just okay, but did not seem happy, really low key, no smile. Today I tried the STF omelet (spinach, tomato, feta) and boy was that a mistake. It was extremely bland - even Cholula could not make it better. It is supposed to have feta, and I could count the few sparsely crumbled pieces in my omelet. Honestly, there were less than 6 small pieces in my omelet with nothing else but a small amount of spinach and a normal amount of diced tomatoes. This was very disappointing. If you advertise a 3 ingredient omelet, don't be stingy with the star of the show - the thing that adds the flavor. I could not even begin to eat it. As well, I ordered hash browns, and so did my husband. He likes his well done, and I like mine underdone. I pointed this out to the waitress, explaining that I always wind up with well done wherever we go if i dont specify, because the kitchen just makes the batch and throws it on the plate and sends the order out. I guess that was not relayed to the kitchen because I wonld up chewing on what felt like the ends of shoe laces. My husband's pancakes were tough and barely warm. The best thing on the plate was the sourdough bread toast and was the only thing that tasted good. However, I had to ask for butter and jelly - that chunk of bread would be very hard to choke down without something on it. That usually comes with any breakfast at any other place without having to flag down the server.
Probably won't return, and would never order...
Read moreMy daughter and I visited yesterday around 11 am. It was our 1st time. We usually visit the location in Plano and wanted to try this one as it is closer to our home. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from my Waiter. He has no customer service skills whatsoever, no greeting, no smile. He made me wonder if he only works there because he doesn't have another option. I ordered a hot chocolate for my toddler and a coffee for me, I finished my coffee. As I was making her chocolate warm by pouring back and forth from my mug to her cup, he came to me with with an unwanted opinion. As I was explaining what I was doing which I totally didn't have to. I said It was too hot, he then proceeded to use sarcasm and said "well it is hot chocolate" I should off asked to see his manager, but I let it go at the moment. I responded back that my daughter is a baby and cannot drink boiling chocolate! He tried to make the situation better afterwards but to me he totally ruined it. I left him a minimum tip as a courtesy, but he didn't deserve it. Food was great over all. Not coming back to...
Read morewas in the area and googled this place based on their vegetarian options. Great location, easy access near the highway. The restaurant is clean and has cute basic decor indoor and outdoor. The hostess Liz provided a 7.5/10 service at the door, she did her job.
After being seated it was about a 7-8 minute wait before my waitress Hannah approached. Only after one of the other waitresses said "who has table 12". I wasn't greeted until after a couple, who walked in 6 minutes after I did. I'm going to say it was because of where I was sitting in my booth, back to the main walkway.
Hannah was very friendly and did her job as well. I enjoyed the music selection as it was very calming country music.
Menu was easy to read through, I ordered the Breakfast Quesadillas with beans and the French toast crunch. The quesadillas were absolutely delicious. French toast was pretty good, 8/10, didn't taste very many walnuts on the crunch part of it. The picture of the French toast is what prompted me to order it.
Not bad, pretty decent for a $22 breakfast. 6.5/10 chance I will...
