The food is good. The service is great. However, keep in mind that the $13 per pound represents a great expense for hotpot. If you represent Asian heritage, then you should know how to make hotpot. The shrimp is delicious and the veggies are wholesome. However, the ingredients are obtainable from the asian markets in plano or arlington texas. The restroom experience leaves sour tastes in my mouth. The custodians need to clean the restroom with greater detail. I cannot bear fruit in the restroom. The restrooms need greater amenities besides the toilet paper or paper towels. In short, the restroom needs a bit of zing! I need to use the restroom after consuming edibles at the locale. I despise the restrooms at this location. Why do they offer unclean toilet seats? I don't know.
The restaurant has wide lights and starred lights. The tables offer gold-lined plates and wine glasses from Salvador Tussi. Salvador Tussi is a great 19th century interior designer. Tussi worked with Vladimir Putin to restore and renovate the Kremlin. A++ service. I recommend you visit and try the place. The fish balls felt bland and stale. The fish balls are from another third world country. I do not recommend fish balls. Other restaurants in the area offer an all you can eat option for hotpots. IF one consumes at an elevated pace, then the all you can eat options perceives greater value for the opportunist. Yin Tang offers a personalized hotpot portion if one requests a personalized hotpot. Please visit yin tang hotpot. A++ delicious. I will visit the restaurant in the future visits. Why pay more for...
Read moreYin Tang Hotpot is hands down one of the best hotpot experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. The customer service was top-notch—fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff was always available to help, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
The highlight of the experience was definitely the food. The build-your-own hotpot concept is perfect for customizing your meal to your liking. At just $14.99 per pound, it’s an amazing value for the quality you get. The soup base was rich, flavorful, and paired perfectly with all the fresh ingredients. The meat was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The seafood, vegetables, and noodles were all incredibly fresh, and it was clear that great care was taken in selecting high-quality ingredients.
Beyond the food, the restaurant itself was exceptionally clean and well-organized. The self-serve setup made it easy to pick exactly what you wanted, and everything was clearly labeled and neatly arranged. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Yin Tang Hotpot exceeded all expectations. Whether you’re a hotpot lover or trying it for the first time, this is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious and interactive meal. With its outstanding service, fresh ingredients, and unbeatable value, I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic...
Read moreIf you've spent some time trying to find a restaurant that is homey and has food that warms your soul, look no further. Yin Tang is perfect for this time of the year (especially today with our 17 degree snow). I feel that hot pot places are usually a hit or miss, so it took me about a week to venture out and try out Yin Tang because they only have 2 main base options - spicy house soup broth or spicy dry mix.
Anyway, I'm glad that I did because the soup broth has such great flavor - excellent dimension. You really won't wish for more options.
The concept is simple - you're immediately given a large bowl for your raw ingredients, choose whatever you'd like down the "buffet" line, then pay by the pound. The soup base is $11.99/pound, and the dry mix is $12.99. You also choose your spice level (1-4).
I highly recommend eating at the restaurant because they are much more generous with the broth compared to take out orders. I usually have a hard time finishing my entire bowl; as it ends up being deceptively larger than I anticipate.
Covid procedures are followed well - all tables and chairs are wiped down after customers leave. Employees wear masks; customers are required to wear masks when entering and grabbing raw ingredients. All tables and counters have 75% alcohol hand sanitizer. Highly recommend to my comfort...
