I have always loved Feng Cha and have always had amazing service at the Castle hills location. But today I visited this location for the first time (since it was on my way home) and while we were sitting there, I needed to throw away my straw. I was sitting facing the cash counter, next to which I saw a trash can. It was also kind of in a corner where restrooms normally are in restaurants. There was nothing suggesting they dont have restrooms or bot to go there. So I thought that area is accessible to the normal public until I went and threw away my straw and quickly realized that what I thought was a restroom was not (I didn't go in or intended to or even saw inside the drape) but before I could step back, the employee who had served us earlier) jumped out from behind the curtain very rudely screaming "please don't go there! Its not for you to use. There's a trash can by the door" To which I responded, "Im sorry, I didn't know" And I genuinely didn't. But I got treated like I am stealing something from them. There are polite ways of guiding people and then there is a way how this employee treated me. I may be blowing this out of proportion, but I am never going to this location again. You shouldn't too, until they get...
Read moreVery rude service. Wednesday 1pm September 3rd. I came to order a drink, then the waiter rudely asked me to order in the kiosk.
Then I ask her if I can get a vanilla syrup pump added to my drink. She said they dont do that at this location.
I tell her they do it at the others & she begins to talk to me very passive aggressively. I can tell she hates her job & is not a kind person. I was asking about the ingredients & she was very rude with answers. She is very condescending & even says the other locations shouldn't serve vanilla pumps, & thanks for letting her know.. Absolutely would not recommend coming here. She laughed at me when I asked a question about what they serve in the drink, as if I know all the ingredients. So mocked me that this is a boba shop not a coffee shop.
Very poor service. Poor representation of a franchise. The front server should be atleast nice & not condescending.
DO NOT COME HERE, IT doesn't look clea n . It was only 1...
Read moreI got bubble tea the other day (from a feng cha), tried a drink with 70% sugar. Normally I can do 100% on a lot of drinks but this one was just way too sweet. Just couldn't drink it, and neither could my partner.
I went back, and they told me that even at 0% sugar, it was still a sweet drink (huh). I asked to get something else and was about to get charged for it. "Why?" Apparently it is against policy to replace drinks. I walked out without any stink and tried to keep drinking my tea, but I had to throw it in the trash.
Is this... normal policy (to not replace drinks if a customer dislikes theirs)? It is one of their top drinks, but I just couldn't handle how sweet it was. I tried emailing their office but haven't gotten a response. Just trying to get a feel for what's going on before I do...
