I am a doordasher and frequent this restaurant for deliveries. I see them give deliveries to drivers through the drive thru all the time while waiting inside for orders and I occasionally use the drive thru as well. Yesterday, the drive thru was the only option because the lobby was closed so today I went through the drive thru because I did not know if the lobby was open. I was told I could not pick up orders from the drive thru because it was against their policy even though I know that's not the case. I told them I did not know and that I would go inside next time but since I had waited in line like everyone else, I would like to just get the food through the drive thru that time. An employee went to hand me my food and was physically blocked by the manager who told me that I worked for Taco Bell and that I needed to do what she told me to. I told her I worked for myself and that I am a freelance contract worker through Doordash. She continued to lie to me that I work for her and have a contractual obligation to not only do what she says, but that I have always had a contractual obligation to pick up food only from the lobby which again, I know is not true. I was refused the food they had sitting for me right in front of them and was so late I had to cancel my order because they wanted to lie to me about my contracts and have a change of heart about their drive thru policy with no wiggle room for me not knowing. The manager in question was a 30-40 year old woman who was a little heavy set and may have been Hispanic. I am highly disappointed that Taco Bell would allow people to be managers who lie to delivery drivers about their cantruactual obligations and who they work for. This could have been a very harmful situation had she picked something more serious to lie about as a...
Read moreIn town for business, staying at the courtyard nextdoor and was hungry for some Taco bell so I walked over. When I walked in there was an employee sitting on the counter just hanging out with a backpack on and talking to I think was his girlfriend or even possibly supervisor. We stood for about 2 minutes before being greeted by another employee who was nice but she wrote our order down? I guess she closed the registers up front and had to use the drive through station to take orders and process payment (no big deal). We stood waiting for our food as the initial male employee that was sitting on the counter began making our food. The two employees were attending to our order when two other patrons stepped in and waited to order. At that point a third employee came up front and stared at the new customers with an odd look as of to be offend by their presence. Mind you it was 9pm so about an hour before the seating area closed for the evening. After another couple of minutes one of the new patrons walked out mumbling about the poor service. Back to the gentleman making the food, during one items preparation he accidentally dropped the item and threw it away (good to see) but after he re-gloved and started again he decided to take a phone call with the same gloves that were just put on.....he was on his cell phone with the newly worn gloves and I have seen multiple reports and scientific studies showing how disgusting a cellphone can be and this employee was handling other patrons food post phone call utilizing the disgusting cellphone gloves. I am not bashing Taco Bell as I believe they are franchised but this specific property owner needs seriously evaluate his/hers store. This is what we are being told should cost $15 an...
Read moreWent to the drive thru, ordered a new item and was told I couldn't have different sauces to try out, could only get one of there because of stock being low. I agreed thinking I would only get one sauce. I ordered unsweetened tea with my order to. I get to window, gave my payment to the server, audrianna (name on reciept), who looked very annoyed with me. She handed my reciept to me which stated I paid for 2 of the same sauce, so I asked if it was possible to get one and one of the three sauces. She passive aggressively did so while they were still getting my unsweetened tea. I get my food and then get my drink. I wish her a merry Christmas by the name on reciept where she said that's my manager not me. My name is Christian. I simply said oh ok, my bad, happy holidays anyways. I left to eat my food on the road where I realized the tea I got was actually a sweet tea, I returned to the drive thru which was empty and request I get the unsweetened tea I ordered. She said ok and I was bet at the window from a guy who had a wild look in his eyes that handed me the drink and asked if I was happy?.... seriously the mood here is aggressive and not necessary... all I'm trying to do is just eat and go about my day. If the store owner cares about this store, please give course of action here somehow. I know it's hard to find good work, hence the now hiring sign out front, but it wouldn't be good if the employees get recorded assaulting people after knowing their behavior is aggressive weeks before. I like this location and have been going here since the 90s, let's not let these people...
