Hands-down one of the best biscuits I’ve eaten in a long time. I came here on a Sunday morning (11am)and so maybe my experience is partly my fault it being the kind of morning that everybody is crammed into a breakfast joint. The hostess was very professional and kind, treating everyone gracious as they came in but after that the service was just not great. I honestly had to wave down the server every single time I needed something not once did they come by to see how things were or if I needed something. The place was at I believe 50% capacity so if they don’t have time to take care of the guests when it’s not full I would hate to come when these restrictions are lifted. The guys in the kitchen were rocking and rolling doing great, the food all around looked amazing the hashbrowns were spectacular. I truly hope it was a one off experience and the servers just had...

We had to grab the hostess attention to even be put on the list. We never got shown to our table, she pointed at the table and when we got close yelled from across the room that that was in fact the right table. Server came over took our order and then the next time we saw her was when she dropped our check. After we ordered it took them over 30 minutes to do French toast and biscuits and gravy. Someone else brought our food out and our server came around about half way thru to drop the check without asking if there was anything else we might want or make sure everything was alright. So the entire trip was being ignored, alright but WAY over priced food, and just mediocrity across the board. Not going back totally ruined my Sunday...
Read morePeg's is always a great place for breakfast especially if you enjoy island dishes like a Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage and of course, spam and eggs. And I should note, I've been to a lot of Peg's from Reno to Vegas and they're all just a bit different one to the next. That said, I especially like the one here in Carson City because of the way they cook the above mentioned dishes and LOVE their specific mac salad. A pro tip of mine is to order up a side of pico to go with your meal as it's fresh and delicious! My wife always like to order up their Belgian waffle with banana fosters or the Plaza Omelette and I can never resist finishing up what she can't eat. Peg's can get pretty busy on the weekends, especially on a Sunday after church lets out so if you're coming in with your family, you should know there...
