Vino's Pizza — Restaurant in Carson City

I wasn't going to give Vino's a bad review until I phoned and spoke to the Manager/ Owner this Halloween evening. I tried to explain how the pizza we received this evening was very bland and dry, with zero flavor. He talked over me and said he personally made the pizza etc. etc. I could barely get a word in and explain how unfortunately this is one of the worst pizzas we've ever had from them. He was quite adamant about how he personally made it and hadn't changed a thing about his pizza's. After listening to him go on and on; I just told him, look we spent $45.00 on this large pizza. Which I was quite sure he wasn't going to comp us our money back or a free future pizza. Not that we were looking for that, as being loyal customers. I just thought he'd want to know and I felt he was quite rude with just talking about how he personally made the pizza and hadn't changed a thing about his pizza making. We definitely have decided after months of being loyal customers to Vinos's ever since they've opened here in Carson City, "NOT" to be ordering our pizza's from their establishment anymore. The least the owner could've done was say he was sorry, but I didn't even receive that...

Pizza is great but the service leaves a lot to be said for! I ordered online @1642 and it gave me a time to pickup of 1710 and then texts me itll be 40 minutes which i got immediately and that isnt an issue for me. Then i get there 50 minutes after i order and it still was not ready. I did get greated and then told by the same person i believe her name is melissa at least 10 times ill be with you in just a second and then she walks away takes orders and continues to tell me ill be with you in a sec etc... long story short, i waited there another 25 minutes before i got my 1 pizza, so not even a complicated or large order and finally right before i get my order the counter lady finally asks if i had called in an order, needed to order etc... mind you i had already informed her of this at least once already. Like I said, food was good but the service needs A LOT OF WORK!! Me, i would almist rather have just ok food and great service!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD ALWAYS BE NUMBER ONE! I have a hard time frequenting any establishment with poor customer service. Not sure if i will be back or not because the less tham...

Food was absolutely amazing! Now the service 🤔 we walked in and it was so nice and cozy and the waitress was not in the conversations mood. My husband kept complimenting the restaurant and the waitress just had this blank stare and I thought maybe it’s the end of the night so it’s fine. A few moments later a couple that is the same race as her sat down and I felt like they got a whole different waitress. I immediately saw the difference as she was standing right by them giving telling them how they run their business (when they didn’t even ask). Anyway she didn’t give us refills or check on us until we asked for the check (tip time) then it was oh anything else I can get you. Well we’re already ready to go so no. It really sucked because we were looking for a good legit high quality place and I guess we didn’t find it. It would have been completely fine if she wouldn’t have given outstanding service to the very next couple after giving us a cold shoulder. I definitely recommend if you are the same race as the waitress but not for anyone else lol. Don’t know what else it could have...
