Update March 2022: Since management replied to my comment, I decided to give Rockin Cajun one last and final chance. I didn't reply to management, I used my own money and I did not get anything for free. I make this dish myself so I know butter is very important. I ordered around 1pm, picked up and began eating around 2ish. I kid you not there was 2 inches of oil! Not butter oil! I know this for fact because I let it cool down for hours and the "butter" never hardened. My guest and I had problems all evening with our stomach. We ordered 3 of the daily specials and didn't even touch the third bag. At around 10:30 pm when they headed home we checked on the 3rd bag that was left out for 7 plus hours and there was no sign of butter!
Honestly do not spend your money here, management is not using ingredients to create a great dish anymore, they rather save money and use some cheap oil than create a dish that will make the customer want to come back. For the price that we pay we deserve butter/better.. eating that amount of oil upsets anyone's stomach.
When I first tried this restaurant I really liked it, but after about a year the food began to change. So much that I just stopped ordering. The last time I ordered was May 2021. I decided to give it another try. And I should of known better. I spent 100 on 3 pounds of shrimp , 1lb mussel and calamari. I had to call twice because they gave me crawfish instead of mussels. I ordered extra spicy. The sauce was very very salty. I did not see thyme, my bag had multiple whole garlics. The calamari was salty and a very small portion than compared to eating inside. Read moreMike and Nate's House of Seafood is a cajun-asian fusion cuisine. I have been a Chef for over 10 years. This is the greatest place ever. The seafood is fresh. The first on Nov. 29th I ate half dozen raw oysters, and buffalo wings. These wings are not the typical wings. I did not insert a picture the first time. The second time on Dec 1st the waiter suggested last time to try the cajun rub, buffalo wings, and grilled zucchini in the picture below. The cajun rub was okay not my favorite it's spices need to be more rubbed in. But, the buffalo wings has a tang what we call in Louisiana it is the sweet and tart that makes your tongue happy were again great the next day. Also, the buffalo wings this time presentation was not appetizing to the eyes. Next time just use the tongs and place it on the tray. I did enjoy the extra sauce. I did not need any ranch. It reminds me of a pickle and you put a peppermint in the middle. I live for that mouthwatering taste. The grilled zucchini was fresh, tender, and juicy. It was a fabulous experience again. If you dine inside they provide T.V.'s to watch sports. I am so glad this place intrigued me. I am from Texas and our wings do not taste like this.
