I recently visited Elevate and had an unfortunate experience that left me feeling both embarrassed and unfairly judged. Despite being 36 years old and presenting a valid government-issued ID, I was refused service based solely on my youthful appearance. While I fully understand and respect the importance of verifying age to comply with the law, I was disheartened that my valid identification was entirely disregarded in this process.

EDIT: I had a VALID driver's license that was accepted at a POLICE station when I applied for a pouring permit just a few days before my visit, as it is required to have a pouring permit at my workplace. This shows that it was a VALID identification. Accusing me of not having a valid identification shows your lack of training and ignorance. Neither excuse you as a business. As a business owner, you should have known better. The fact that you continue to back up the poor decision, openly accusing me of having a fake ID instead of apologizing shows you cannot own up to your mistakes and...

My wife and I stopped here on a date night in downtown Cartersville, and this quickly became the highlight of the night. The decor, atmosphere, and overall vibe of Elevate is both laid back and upscale; we felt comfortable and classy at the same time. Plenty of spots in here to take photos, if that's your thing.

What I want to note, though, is the high quality drinks and bartenders. We each had two drinks and were absolutely blown away - they were skillfully crafted and delicious. For my second drink, I asked the bartender to make me anything he wants that uses Irish whiskey and is a bit smoky - this was a great decision. The whiskey sour he prepared had a figgy and smoky flavor profile and was, hands down, one of the best drinks I've had in a long time.
