Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Cartersville

03/30/24: Excellent service at both, the register and attentive cooks that could do more than build but are cooks. 10/15/22: Inside. Ordered Double Cheese No Bun, No Onion, No Salt; Add Lettuce and Tomato; got Onion and No lettuce. Ordered second regular double cheese burger with everything, add tomato, onion, No lettuce. Got Lettuce. Compared to Barrett Parkway the Fry orders were very small, barely warm and cold by third bite. Same at both locations. You can operate a freezer for a dinning area and have warm food. Was clean. Took pictures as usual. Note the tiny size of tomato. Prior: +/- 12:15PM. Only one in drive through. Ordered a double cheese Burger with NO bun and No Salt and second cheese Burger with No salt through the drive through. Told him 3 times No bun, No Salt. Picked up the full order of burgers, fries and drinks (_20+ $$), drove off and when digging out the burger boxes we had two burgers WITH buns. That means they probably ignored the No Salt request as well. Both Health Issues, Celiac and Heart Failure. I had told him 3 times No bun because she is long term Celiac and No Salt. 2nd trip here in 18 months, mistake. Big sign out front telling dining room is open. The food is really good if you're interested in a burger, hot dog or fries and Shake kind of combo! My husband and I actually both love their hot dogs... In this area it's tough to find a good Vienna Beef! They also have an authentic Chicago dog on their menu... The milkshakes are great and even though I never thought I would be wanted to say this sometimes I think they might even be a little too sweet! On our last visit we were in for kids night and it truly was an amazing experience. They have a drawing every half hour or so for different prices. The kids get a t-shirt videos of course free advertising for Freddy's, but when they wear it back into the restaurant they get a free ice cream treat... My son was lucky enough to win one of the drawings and he want to free meal coupons and about 8 coupons for ice cream treats or a cone... Also included with things like a frisbee, a light-up yo-yo, erasable cup and a small backpack. He was so excited! Even if he hadn't won he truly enjoyed his dinner and the face painting and coloring stations too! Thank you Freddy's for a fun...

Updated below: Waste of time. Had to place our order twice with two different people with about a five minute wait in between. Waited 12 minutes in line before getting to the window to be told that they were out of what we ordered. Neither one of the girls who took our order thru the speaker told us they were out. Wasted a good 20 minutes in line. Freddy's Frozen Custard is not worth the wait. Try a frosty from Wendy's or a shaved ice from Coconuts when in Cartersville instead. Better price, product and especially service elsewhere. Also agree, this place smells like grease all the time. Will ruin your clothes for the day if you go inside.

Updated: Freddy's management staff reached out to me and made things right. I received several emails as well as a phone call from the district manager apologizing for my bad experience. I give them huge props for this and this review is now a 5 star. Customer service goes a LONG way. We haven't had any problems since and Freddy's is now one of my daughter's favorite places for a cold treat. Good...
