Edit 6-3-25: Hansik has brought back the AYCE option! This is wonderful news. The prices for all you can eat are on par with other KBBQ restaurants in the surrounding area, and it was delicious. They even have mini grills to place on the tables that donât have a built in grill. Service was wonderful and the waiters/waitresses were so nice this time, we canât wait to go back again.
Edit: I am sad to say that Hansik no longer has the All You Can Eat option at all. This was the main reason we came here. Also, the prices have increased for everything. We would bring all of our friends here when they came in to town but I fear that will no longer be the case. The vibes were also off on our recent visit. It is clear that the management has changed - and not for the better. The food was still decent so I will leave 2 of my previous 5 stars. I will miss going to our regular Korean spot. To the owners, if you read this: your loyal customers would be fine with a price increase on the AYCE option. Getting rid of it altogether is not the right move. Please reconsider.
Original review: This restaurant is phenomenal! The food was delicious. I think my favorite thing was the tofu. We tried almost all of the proteins and sides for the All You Can Eat option. This was the best Korean BBQ I have ever had. Our service was also wonderful; all of the servers were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I wish I could rate ten stars! Seriously the greatest restaurant in Cartersville. The service and timeliness of the food was also great for a restaurant thatâs only been open for a few days. A fantastic experience all around. I canât...
Read moreThis was my bf and Iâs second time at Hansik. When we first came they still had their all you can eat option and it was definitely worth the money as it came with lots of yummy side dishes like Korean Fried Chicken, Corn Cheese, Japchae and three different kinds of sauces and obviously the all you can eat Meat Selection. We went again this past Sunday as opposed to going to Iron Age or Thrills just because it was closer and we liked it so much last time. Upon getting there we did notice a sign that said their all you can eat menu was no longer a choice but we still decided to try it. The prices are considerably HIGH but still we decided to order two meats and held on to hope. But we shouldâve turned around and headed to Atlanta as soon as saw the sign. We paid $30 for some brisket and $45 for a marinated meat. The quality was alright, just like any other Korean BBQ place nothing crazy but the portion to price ratio was absolutely dismal. The side dishes they provide you with are very basic side dishes, I did end up ordering the corn cheese but the corn tasted old and stale and was definitely not worth the extra $7. Overall, we will not be going here again. We ended up with a bill of $103 just to not even begin to get full and was completely devastated. They had a good thing going for them but I would definitely rather travel to Atlanta and pay around $80-$90 for AYCE and appreciate the...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I decided to check this place out for Valentineâs Day. I would rather get roller food from a gas station than ever eat here again. The beef brisket had zero flavor and had an equal amount of fat as is did meat. Instead of a âcook your own foodâ style Korean bbq they brought us pre-cooked chicken where having it on the grill to heat it up left it rubbery and equally tasteless. The teriyaki sauce isnât teriyaki flavored, it was sweet but nothing youâd expect it to taste like.
The atmosphere is equal to that of a gas station add-on subway.
We spent 80 dollars and left before we had a second order of meat because of how bad everything was.
The only saving grace was that our server was nice but when we said we wanted our check early she took her time gossiping about why instead of running my card. On top of that she never asked why we were leaving before eating only a quarter of what she gave us to eat.
On top of all of this, I am pretty sure they utilize purchased reviews to inflate their number. On closer inspection after the fact there are a lot of red flags as to why not to eat here.
We were also told that they are âtrying to get rid of their stockâ and that was why over half of the advertised menu was unavailable. We were offered shots of something just to get it gone. The only thing available on the âKorean bbqâ menu is the middle section. They had masking tape...
