I have been eating at Martin’s my entire life. The food is always good. The biscuits are fluffy and delicious plus the food always seems fresh. Been getting the Chicken, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit for a long time and it hasn’t gotten old. I have never felt like the service was sub par although wait time have always been a little high. However, my family and I just went through the drive through and we’re presently surprised by the cheerful attitude, politeness, and attention to detail that we received.
When my wife ordered the young lady spoke very clearly and responded yes ma’am when replying to my wife’s questions. She was patient and repeated our order back to us to ensure everything was correct. When we arrived at the window we could instantly match the kind voice to the smiling face we were seeing.
I asked the young ladies name, Brooklyn, and let her know that “This has been the best drive though experience I have had in years.” I would assume that she has a bit a happy disposition all the time, but her respect and professionalism were very impressive. This young lady has given me a little hope that there are hard working helpful people still entering the workforce. My suggestion to management would be to promote Brooklyn quickly and have her involve in creating customer experience training for the company. If she isn’t promoted someone is going to see what we did and offer her a better...
Read moreMan what happened to this place. Last couple times I've been here I have been unimpressed. This time was the last straw. The bacon would be good if it wasn't overcooked. They are short changing you on the egg they put on a biscuit. There might have been 0.5 oz of egg on my large biscuit. They're typically bad at the amount of egg they put on there so I always order a side of egg. $1.41 for an egg on the side and the scoop they gave me was less than the size of a golf ball. I cook a lot at home and I know how much one egg looks like. Definitely half of an egg for a $1.41. Chick-fil-A gives you three times more egg for 60 cents! I usually get a side of gravy, to dip my biscuit in. I don't know what their gravy is now but it may as well just be flour and water because it looks like slime and it tastes like nothing. I would get better gravy in a school cafeteria. Fresh tastes best? This gravy came out of a freezer from a bag from the cheapest line of products that could possibly purchase. Every fast food restaurants has better gravy and eggs in this place does. I'll never come back to...
Read moreWe used to love this location, but the last few times have been awful and a complete waste of money. We went there this morning and ordered a variety of things. The gravy was so bad. It has the consistency and color of bacon grease and smelled like baby food. They used to have great gravy. We got 5 biscuits and all 5 were in pieces. We literally used forks to eat chicken biscuits. There's no excuse for that other than someone made horrible biscuits and then didn't care enough to toss the batch. One chicken biscuit had a black hair in it. None of us have black hair. I called the restaurant and was told they'd remake the biscuits, but the taste of the biscuits were doughy, plus the hair told us it would be a waste of a drive. I was also told the gravy has changed as well as the onion ring batter. Whoever made that decision needs to fix it because it was...
