Having probably driven by this place no telling how many times, we finally stopped and ate here, and glad we did. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw and potatoe salad on the side, and an Arnold Palmer to drink. The sandwich was delicious and Scott the owner serves 2 different BBQ sauces, one that's a honey smoked flavor and one that's a North Carolina spicy flavor, both are excellent. Normally I'm VERY picky about my potato salad, as I like it best with a healthy dose of mustard, and theirs was mainly mayo based, but to my surprise it was delicious. The cole slaw was good as well, I like to put my slaw on my sandwich and make a slawBQ sandwich. The tea for my Arnold Palmer was good. My wife had the pulled pork salad and she enjoyed it. The owner Scott is a great guy, comes around to talk to all his customers. We will definitely be back and will highly recommend. I didn't give 5 stars as this was my first visit and have only tried one meal and don't like giving 5 stars for one visit, but it's probably in the top 5 of my favorite BBQ places in the south.

Being new to the area, I opened up my Yelp app and chose this place. Scott’s is located on N Tennessee Street right across from Car quest. This restaurant offers plenty of parking and their patio is pet friendly. The menu is consisted of traditional bbq. I hear the briskets are the best thing on the menu but only served on Fridays. I ordered the half rack ribs with slaw and collards. The ribs were delicious!! The staff were all friendly. I brought my dog into the patio and one of the workers offered him a Shoulder Bone from the back! Great foods and service!!

Great owner. Friendly and outgoing. Food came out very quickly so we dived right in. Ribs were tasty and meaty. All the sides, collard greens, potato salad, slaw and beans were above average. Pulled pork was great. No brisket or burnt ends except for Friday. Rats. We took our dog with us and there is plenty of seating outside for them. One thing: there is no above-the-counter menu. You have to look at the printed menu at the counter.

Used to be so much better years ago. Ordered the ribs and they were rubbery and tough. Mac n cheese was pasty. They told us they bake it in the oven and put bread crumbs on top but it was nasty! All stuck together and dry. The beans were mushy too. We asked for another side and we chose potato salad. It too was nothing to write home about. Not much flavor. Big pieces of egg white, no salt, not much relish. When one of the employees brought it to our table, she slammed them down on the table. My daughter was the one who went to the counter to ask for another side since the Mac n cheese was awful and she was told, “well we already gave you your sides.” Very rude staff. Acted like it would put them out of business to give another side to a customer who wasn’t happy. I will say we complained to the manager and he refunded us our money. But none of the food tasted fresh. It was like it was cooked days ago and they just keep warming it up and serving it to people. Also the burnt ends and the beef brisket is only available on Fridays according to their menu. What in the world? The locals around there like it I guess because there’s not a lot of BBQ places around but it sure was disappointing to us. If you want great BBQ you must visit Biguns BBQ in...

You know when the parking lot is just gravel the BBQ is gonna be good: WRONG! For one, it's Saturday evening and they're out of RIBS. They only serve brisket and burnt ends on Friday's. So there goes 3 options for dinner. Overheard the "friendliest" lady at the counter tell a customer that they're also out of pork loin. 4 options for dinner are gone. So we get the daily special of a pulled pork sandwich, chips and a drink. The pulled pork was drier than dammit, soaked up every bit of the sauce they had available on the table, which is a grand total of 3 including the hot sauce. I had to mix all the sauces just to get some sort of taste from the pork. Ridiculous. Back to the friendly service from the staff, there wasn't any. No greeting when we approached the counter, no thank you given for our order, and no thank you when we left. We weren't expecting much but a simple hello and thank you would have sufficed. For BBQ that is obviously overcooked and tasteless, if you actually do get any pork before they run out, to the most unfriendly service imaginable, then this is your...

Our recent Saturday evening visit was, unfortunately, a complete letdown from start to finish. Walking in, we were the only customers, yet there were roughly eight employees gathered at a table in the lobby. Honestly, that should have been our first clue. Things went downhill from there. They were out of almost everything, leaving me with very limited options. I ended up settling for a pork plate that came with an incredibly skimpy portion of Brunswick stew and what tasted like chemically-treated, bagged coleslaw. All of this was served in tiny containers that looked more like they belonged with salad dressing than a main meal and the pork itself was very dry and hard, far from what you'd expect. I did enjoy tons of the mustard BBQ sauce. It was tasty. The portion size was absolutely minuscule, especially when you consider the price. It felt like a significant rip-off for the small amount of food we received. The quality and value simply weren't there. We left feeling completely underwhelmed and regret choosing to dine here. Save your money and go elsewhere for a...
