I don't normally write reviews but in this case I felt like I needed to share my Sodabox experience. Not only do they make great drinks, but their team is so nice and friendly!!! We pulled up yesterday for dirty soda day, but we were told that it was past 6PM so their promotion ended. However, Scott, one of the brothers who owns it, came out, shook our hands and gave us half off drinks for understanding that we were the cutoff. Him introducing himself to us, apologizing, but still being able to give us half off really struck a great chord with us. Great business practice, great drinks, great team. Read moreIt gets a 3 because the strawberry refresher was good. I tried the NC State of Mind and it just tasted like syrup. The rice Krispy treat was also not very good in my opinion. I got the rice Krispy treat through Too Good To Go and somehow paid more for something that was to end up in the trash where-as if I had walked in after they were freshly baked, I would have paid less. Make that make sense. You pay $3.99 for $12 of food that the store is about to throw out but you instead get 1 rice Krispy treat that costs $3.50. It feels like they are trying to take advantage of people, and that simply doesn't leave a good taste...
Read moreUpdate for sodabox owner.. back at our local “Swig” in Utah we had our favorite drinks and the couple flavors were missing is grapefruit, guava and squirt the soda (but that was only for a limited time).
As someone who is from the original area of soda shops, I can confirm this place is so good! A couple of syrups are missing that we used to have back home in Utah but overall still gets in our soda fixes.
Go and support this place if you are into new experiences not normally found everywhere. So excited to have an actual soda shop near us.
