I found this restaurant on Instagram and instantly fell in love with the decor of the restaurant I had booked a private party in their private room for me and my guests for my birthday which was September 14th 2024 I had called ahead a week in adavance just to make sure that I could secure my room and table for my party. The day of my event I arrived on time at 7:45 mind you my reservations were for 8:00 just to find out once I got there that another party had taken my spot I was very confused because I already had guests seated at a table within the restaurant around so this was not a private party which was promised by Mamacita they did not uphold their part of the contract on top of that their bartender was very rude to the point that she called two men to come up there and assist her up at the restaurant I guess they were there to fight I felt very uncomfortable I have never in my life experience something like that before I really hope it was not because I was a black woman because the family that occupied the party room were of a Spanish descent I asked the manager how they could book two parties the same day at the same time and I did not get a good enough explanation I got the ran around. In the process of this the manager promises me that we could have free shots of our choice because of the inconvenience when I asked for the top shelf tequila I would like they refused and wanted to give us house tequila after all I had been through that day it was still an issue to even compromise for the difficulties on their end I will never eat here again the restaurant is incredibly beautiful but the service sucks. The bartender girl should be fired how do you call strangers to come up to a establishment that you work at to fight the customers are you serious it was the worst...

Update; first review was at lunch, (awesome) this review was our 2nd time back for dinner (not awesome)

I dropped the food rating down a stars, with a disappointing dinner. It was like we stepped into a completely different restaurant from the first visit. Not sure what's going on here. I ordered grilled chicken enchiladas with a guajillo sauce and a michelada, my wife ordered a chicken and spinach enchilada with roasted pablano sauce and a glass of wine. The dishes were beautiful, but served cold. Not even luke warm. The chicken was dry inside and sauces were bland. Our drinks arrived after our food even though we ordered them 15 min ahead, my michelado was uninspired. It was like a beer over ice with some spices shaken over it. Most have a spice ring around the glass but none here. We wanted to luv this after a stellar first visit but this was disappointing.

Our waitress was very nice though and apologetic for the slow bar service. Attentive. 👍

±++++++++++++ First visit:

We recently moved here and the locals told us there were none ent Mexican restaurants here. I am quite good at cooking Mexican myself, I'm from CA and have travelled to a few of Mexico's culinary regions. I will tell you this place is a gem! The chef is from Jalisco, so you will find seafood items here. The preparations take very careful attention to detail. The flavors are bold and deep, artfully presented. The restaurant is very new and welcoming. I had a short rib taco with green mole (didn't even know there was such a thing). The tacos were blue corn, salsas were nice n spicy. We topped it off with a Carmel infused churros for dessert. We'll be back to sample other items in their rather...

I arrived here around 12:15pm on a Saturday for a lunch date. I’ve seen this restaurant on instagram and was interested in their robot that brings your food.

We were promptly greeted and sat. The decor was AMAZING! I truly loved it. The waiter didn’t take too long to come and take our drink order. We got a queso dip ($5.75) and I got a Mamacita flight ($16.99). The traditional sangria drink was our least favorite. The mango margarita was our favorite.

Our entrees included the Texas fajitas and Chicken quesadilla. I got the fajitas and it came was a mini cheese quesadillas that was HOT and delicious. The fajitas came with rice and beans that was more warm than hot. I also got 3 tortillas that seemed store bought vs homemade. The steak was steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and delicious. The veggies that came with the plate were hot but the meat lacked consistency in temperature.

I was saddened when the robot went to wrong table. It was not a huge deal as a staff directed it to our table.

Unfortunately, our waiter not very attentive at all. It took him a long time to return to take our order after asking for another minute. Additionally, he took my rice and beans plate WITHOUT asking if I was done. That was very insensitive and rude, in my opinion. I stopped him from taking my hot plate as it still had food. To make matters worse, he didn’t even ask I I wanted a box either, smh. When we were done eating, we wait 15-20 minutes for him to bring us the bill and it wasn’t busy. There were sufficient staff present as well.

This could’ve easily been a 5 star review if we received...

This is a cute little place. It is a new place. I love the decor and ambiance. Suzy & Maria were great! They don't have alcohol yet. They will soon. I ordered the oysters and chicken taquitos. They were delicious. The oysters had spinach, cheese, and potatoes. They were really tasty. Nice combination and flavor. The taquitos are made from scratch and are not your average taquitos. They sat on a bed of rice. The taquitos were nice. The rice was delicious. I will be back to try entrees. But the appetizers were a good start. Update: 1.19.23 Leesa was amazing!! Her personality is awesome as well. The service was great. I ordered the Cheesy Ribeye. It was perfect and flavored nicely. I ordered it medium Ware. the cheese sauce was amazing. it came with onions and mushrooms so I could take the tortilla chips and eat it as a Nacho as well. I order the lady cocktail. It was nice but a bit sweet. I ordered the mamacita cocktail as well. Of the two I did like the mama sita better because it wasn't as sweet as the Lady Cocktail. I definitely recommend this place. It is one of my favorites. The only thing I was suggested is that they have a space for dancing, as this would add to this place because they play great music. The ambience is a beautiful.
