I normally don’t write the reviews for the restaurant because I know that people has their own judgment and preference on the food. I’m very disappointed with this place. My friend recommended me if I wanted to try the ramen. I understand that this place is quite small and has limited seats. I came with party of four and those tables are taken. The lady in front (I assume that she’s the owner) asked for my phone number and will call me if the table is available. I waited in the car so I can see what happened in the store. First table was left, she started clean up the table. Two other customers walked in and they sit themselves and she gave them the menu. Then the other two customers walked in, she also seat them and gave them the menu. That’s when I started to get angry because she haven’t call me. I walked in and she’s probably realize that she forgot about me. I ended up sit at the table which she cleaned up from the first place then she gave me the menu and told me that it will take a couple minutes before she can take my order. A couple more minutes after that there were four more customers walk in, luckily for them that the other is table is available for them to be seated. She gave them the menu without telling them to wait to order like I was told. Unfortunately the dish that I’d like to try was sold out (it’s really not my day and this might be the sign that this place does not suit me). I ended up not ordered anything and waited for my party to finish their food. I tried a little bit of their dishes. They all quite salty and two of my friends cannot...

I would like to preface by stating I have had great food from this establishment, but I dislike how I was treated today.

This was my first time stopping by to eat inside. It was 1:20 but ramen is pretty quick generally. I knew from coming when it was noodle blvd that there was an outlet I could use. I was so excited to see there were barely any people close to closing time AND the table near the outlet was available. Upon entering I was greeted by a server who directed me either to the bar or to the couple table. I kindly asked if my husband and I could sit at the table near the outlet which was open and has four seats. I was told no and they were reserving the table for a party of four. At this point it’s 1:25 and again the establishment closes at 2. I urged the server that I needed to charge my device as I’m a parent working remotely and the space was available. Again, I was told no because if a party of four comes in within the next 30 minutes they needed to be seated. Mind you I was offered the bar sarcastically but the server could have also offered that to the hypothetical party of four arriving at the barely occupied space. Nonetheless, I expressed my disappointment and left to go somewhere that was willing to assist the customer. Very disappointed but again the food is good and my family enjoys. I will not attempt to eat inside again.

Two stars and not one because I don’t seek to cause harm to...

Sweet kind staff. Quick service. Cozy/clean/nice ramen shop. Gave really good vibes. The ramen was amazing. The broth was so good. The black garlic oil was a great addition to it. I could have a gallon of it and still want more. The chashu was the next highlight for me. So tender melt in your mouth and the fat was rendered perfectly. First time I've had chicken chashu as well and it was better than I thought it could be. Very tender. I forgot to get a fish cake so I'll try and remember to do that next time. Maybe I'll try spicy miso next time.

The noodles were fine. They seemed like just thin spaghetti noodles. Probably only thing they could improve on, but I mean this place is still the best around.. Shop is too small to make their own noodles and if they ordered from a specialty noodle supplier it would probably increase each bowl by $1. Not sure worth especially since the majority of their customer base is used to these noodles. We are so blessed to have this place. I am looking forward to going back. Probably good they're in Cary and not Apex cause if they were closer I would definitely eat there...

If you're looking for authentic Japanese ramen in Cary, NC, Koi Ramen is definitely worth a visit. Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with excellent service. As for the food, I tried the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of saltiness. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the slices of pork belly were tender and juicy. The toppings included a soft-boiled egg, bamboo shoots, nori, and scallions, all of which added great texture and flavor to the dish. Overall, I highly recommend Koi Ramen to anyone looking for a great ramen experience in Cary. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top-notch. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or just looking to try something new, Koi Ramen is definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely loved Koi Ramen!! The staff was incredible and literally stopped everything to accommodate our large party. The food was magnificent and was prepared so quickly. We ended up ordering seconds of just about everything. The bao buns were one of my favorite items, but I didn't try anything that I wouldn't recommend. They have a variety for everyone, too, including items for kids and picky eaters. The Ramen itself had incredibly deep flavor, and the pork and egg couldn't have been better. This visit was such a treat. We've wanted to visit, and I'm so glad we did. In an age where Ramen spots are abundant, this one stands out as one of the best in this area. Thank you to the Koi Ramen team, we are praying for your continued success!

Been dying to find a good ramen place. I passed this place everyday between work and home and I never thought to try it out until a friend wanted to grab dinner yesterday and let me tell you…. Very EXCELLENT!! Great food, great portion sizes, great environment, great customer service, great timing! Just everything about my time here was beyond my expectations. For the both of us was $40 WITH an appetizer!!! Can’t beat great food with good prices. Will be returning regardless if I dine in or take out. (For first timer I got the R1: rich chicken based broth topped with scallions, bamboo shoots, corn, nori & seasoned boiled egg) would’ve added shrimp if I knew it was going to be this delicious.
