New China Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cary

I took my mother out for lunch and ordered 2 meals, the lady at the front desk ran my card but was hesitant to give it back, she had it in her hand and went to the back with it, while I waited at least 10 minutes I finally asked if I could have my card back, she then gave it to another lady working that ran my card ..again. I told her that the card was already ran once and that I saw the first lady do it. She said that the card reader was "offline" and I could check my bank account to be sure in a rude manner. I checked my account and there it was 2 transactions had occurred. I showed her my account statement and politely asked for a refund. I was argued with and rejected multiple times. Thankfully my bank was able to dispute the charges. What could have been a nice lunch turned out to be awful. This process would make more sense if there was an option to pre-pay to ensure the order matches the right customer. However, as it stands, it feels like an extra, pointless step that adds to the overall frustration.

This is my go to take out Chinese place in Cary. The food is consistently high quality. It may be a cliched, Americanized dish but I find myself getting the sesame chicken every time I'm here, and it is always excellent. They give you an incredible amount of food for the eight dollars you pay- I always have enough to eat dinner again the next day. The egg rolls are pretty good and the rice is your standard takeout quality.
