SipCha — Restaurant in Cary

The staff were welcoming and engaging in Cary. Mike was eager to help and please customers. There was no wait or line upon arrival. I visited as a treat with my daughter and mother during the after school dismissal hour. 4:00 pm. I was able to finish work remotely thanks to this location that features ample electrical outlets and a few tables for group seating. This shopping center and area of Cary is one of my favorite to visit. I researched the top flavors here and decided on the Rose Milk Tea with herbal jelly and lychee toppings. Rose milk is one of my favorite boba tea flavors. When I heard real flowers and the whole tea bag goes into the cups here at SipCha, I had to experience it for my self. I wanted something comforting and refreshing. The rose milk features a floral, refreshing, sweet treat. I have never tried the Herbal Jelly, so I did some research. Herbal jelly also known as grass jelly, is a bitter Jell-O version of boba. It's made of a leafy plant called mesona chinensis. Next to Aloe Jelly it's one of the lowest calorie options to add texture to your tea beverage. Typically, I order lychee, red bean, egg pudding and the traditional tapioca- boba. Today I went with lychee and herbal jelly. Perfectly refreshing, giving all the gelatinous chewy texture I desire. My mom and daughter enjoyed rolled ice cream which was delicious. Great tea, not so great service, by one staff member in particular who has already been mentioned in a previous review written here. I've gone to SipCha dozens of times since their grand opening at this location, and was shocked at the unprecedented negative experience I had today. Our cashier's demeanor was rude and unwelcoming, and she did not seem like she wanted to be of any help to the customers at all. It was very off putting, and as a result of our interaction I will likely be avoiding SipCha for some time. However, I will note that this was a one-time experience, as this has never happened before. The rest of the staff are very kind and approachable. Most importantly, their tea and boba are beyond amazing, and have been a staple in my life for the past two years now. I recently visited SipCha in Cary and was delighted by my experience! I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake drink, and I must say, it was both beautiful and delicious. The presentation alone was enough to make me smile, and the taste was simply divine.

Despite the slight inconvenience of a longer-than-expected wait, it was evident that we hit the location at a busy time. However, I was impressed by how efficiently the staff managed the crowd. Even with the line, they moved quickly and with a level of professionalism that was truly commendable.

The atmosphere of SipCha was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The attention to detail in both the decor and the drinks themselves is something to be admired.
