Love the atmosphere here It’s look like you are in Baghdad The Iraqi bread ( Samoon ) was really delicious and same as in iraq ( or better i believe). The Znood Al Set ( Iraqi dessert) was fantastic. Family owned business with variety Iraqi and Mediterranean items. Brothers Mustafa , Mundther and Muhand are really friendly and professional They made free teas for us after we back to their store to buy additional items and add on that they gave us free Baklava to try them first before buying them .. We occasionally visit Mediterranean stores to try some products. Picked up few items from their store along with the freshly baked samoon-Iraqi bread. The woman on the cash counter was so sweet & suggested to try the Iraqi bread which was kept under the towel. And I must say, it was simply delicious, warmed it up a little after coming home & had it with olive oil & herbs dip, I also added a bit of fried green/red chilli paste & it was delicious. I went to the beach and bought delicious samoon from Baghdad Market. Now I’m sitting by the sea with my family, enjoying this bread, and it reminded me of my days back in Iraq — when I used to wake up early in the morning to buy fresh samoon. The taste is exactly the same, nothing has changed.
